One of my favourite authors is aldous Huxley, amazing, island was his last book, the manuscript of which he saved from a fire in his house. Love it. I have to say that siddartha by Herman Hesse is my favourite book. Great to see you having a chat. 🇬🇧🙂

It was good hearing Ren talk about his limited windows of time. I'm usually stuck in bed 23 hours a day and whenever I feel up to it, I have to be doing something. I do painting, fiber art, cleaning and gardening whenever I can otherwise I feel useless. The last 8 years have got by so fast because I've just slept most of it.

I had never heard of Ren before someone ended up mentioning him in a music group on Facebook that I recently joined. My first experience of Ren was Hi Ren, and I was so completely mind-blown that I immediately wanted to speak to somebody… anybody about it, but it was the middle of the night. All I could do was begin to search for his next song, which led me to some reaction videos. Before then, I had never paid attention to reaction videos, but I was curious how Ren’s music was resonating with others, and not on that “He’s got wicked sick rhymes and flow” but of how the content of Hi Ren affected them. I absolutely loved Rosalie’s take because it dove deep. I’ve been a fan ever since. Recently, I stumbled across some of Ren’s interviews and was very interested in what he had to say, but not really in what the reactors had to say. This evening, I found myself wondering if he had done an interview with Rosalie, and to my delight, he had. I’m so very glad to have watched this interview. Thank you to both Ren and Rosalie for such a unique… such an interesting… such a stimulating interview!

Working for finding the balance between the dark and the light IS life. Many find comfort in the dark because maybe that's all they've known. But the more that drive for better and brighter eventually moves all of us forward to better and brighter. Birth to death, a to z, searching, reaching, collectively connecting and hoping for more is human existence. The more rallying and propelling of others to search for, work for, find unity and end the suffering of division Isn't as difficult as It may seem.. Not believing everything another believes does not have to be devicive, but just different, unique. Only finding happiness in your existence by tearing down another's is simply fear. Let's simply help each other to not be so afraid ✌️

God knew prior to our creation that there would be a constant struggle between right and wrong. He created day and night before creating man. He did so even before creating the sun and the moon and stars. He knew there was going to be light vs dark. The thing that separates us from angels, demons and God. The curse of man and the blessing of man. We will be tempted, but we all have a choice. It started before the garden.

This all leading to the cross which splits the two down the middle. Living in the balance.

Though the pendulum swings, it connects to the keeper of time. The one who lives outside of time yet is the very one who created it. We view time as linear, when in reality it’s eternal. So when we die to ourselves and turn to the cross we find the balance between our humanness and our spirit. Between life and death! Even though we are, human beings created with free will, we are first a spirit living out the human experience. We will return to what we once were. The caveat is will we choose life or death!?!

Who didn't have tears in their eyes after hearing Hi Ren for the first time!? What an absolute masterpiece.

I could see he was suffering part way thru…unable to get comfortable or sit still. When he paused a moment, in tears, & spoke of not being in pain ….how it can temper his reaction to success…my heart skipped a beat. Success is not a trade off for suffering. It’s nice…but it doesn’t solve it.💔But Art can make it worth it.

That moment, where he paused…..my heart!💔…then spoke of the Tribes…so profound. Others profit when opposition stays put. We must speak to each other and come to terms. Compromise & understanding are not weakness.

Rosalie, you are always authentically invested in what you do. Influence doesn't erase ability, destroy unique qualities or overshadow passion. It is impossible to evolve as a species without learning from and mimicking others. We all learn how to talk. But we don't need to reinvent the alphabet. Or create new sounds to communicate. Language exists. That's passed down. Influence is impossible to remove from the human experience. However, when we can absorb all of the existing knowledge and think beyond that? That's when we move forward. Ren is moving music to a new place. Genre bending. Which will inspire so many people in so many ways. For the better. And the world needs it right now.

I've followed you for so long, this really hits home. I continue to follow for the realism and professionalism. Ren is my therapy

Now i know that we are in the "End Times"! Angels are already amongst us to heal us and show us the light. Ren,for me you are an Angel 🙏

@rosalie - please would you consider bringing Jordan Peterson and Ren together? Of that a bit mad? Listening to REN, he could learn from Jordan’s expertise, and Jordan would find REN’s perspective refreshing, of at the very least full of hope. As a bi product it could make great content - you could chair and have a live three way conversation.

I never associated civil rights as a black property... of course, I'm not any kind of a rich person.. I'm homeless.. i don't care about appropriation while im struggling to stay warm in the winter.

I love REN! I am so happy you got a interview with him. I love watching react videos of my favorite artist. I like to find hidden gems and explore music. Therapeutic for me for real! Music 🎶 is life.
