Elevating the Kingdom of Mann is OVERPOWERED...

Hey what DLC do i need to do this? =) Apprechiate any help!

Do I need some DLC to this be available? Because it never shows to me. I only have the base game and some minor mods.

It seems to be much harder to perform these tasks these days with the latest exp patch. AI is often a real Ahole and you aint gettin as much prestige from battles while raiding anymore:S Not to mention the fact you can only construct 2 buildings in your holdings from the beginning:S

De jure Duchy of the Isles becomes de jure part of Kingdom of Mann and the Isles if owned
De jure Duchy of the Northern Isles becomes de jure part of Kingdom of Mann and the Isles if owned
De jure Duchy of Strathclyde becomes de jure part of Kingdom of Mann and the Isles if owned

This was the absolute worst possible way to do this decision. 😂

I'm sure you already know this BUT this decision actually feudalizes all tribal holdings in your realm. However, you also should be on track to create the High Kingdom of the North Sea. So you want to start in Denmark or Norway if not Bjorn/Sweden. You SHOULD snowball and take as many holdings as you can BEFORE you Elevate the Isles.

In my most recent run as a Duke (because you can't form a Kingdom to do this), I held every single county necessary to form the High Kingdom of the North Sea. I don't think you are good enough to replicate it. 😂

Best play I've found is start as chief where Rollo of Normandy is the marshal. Have your chief marry Saga truth speaker then immediately divorce her and marry her to Rollo. Conquer the northern isles and give then to Rollo making him independent. Give gold and concubines to rollo then switch character to him. Now kick everyone's ass. Take everything De Jure to Kingdom of mann, take some Norway counties take some Denmark and England counties. Keep fighting to get that prestige up. You can even take Normandy since you are Rollo but wait to adopt Norman culture until you elevate Mann. From there after elevating Mann. Rollo will be old and die but youve got your kingdom and now Norman culture which means you're OP as fuck. Next step is work on getting North Sea Empire which will be easy with Rollo and his OP kids

Is this a modded version of the game or something? It starts in 867 not 866, and the Jarl of Smaland as well as his wife have drastically different starting stats

feel like this video is rigged. Literally created dutchy after dutchy, fought war after war, raided endlessly and used diplomacy tree. Still only halfways throgh living legend and I had 10K Prestige making over 12 a month

Howcome when I try this my character gets overwhelmed with stress after executing people? Can anyone help

How come when I try to recreate this video, the same character is not the ruler of Smaland and its not the same religion? Ive noticed this on other videos tried to recreate. Your videos are great but I cant do the same. I am playing on PS5 so maybe thats why?

FYI, Austr Agdir is an amazing start. Surrounded by weaker neighbors, very easy conquests. You can easily form the Kingdom of Norway if you block the Swedes/Danes from expanding further north. From there, just do Viking things (raid and pillage) until the Viking leaders in England die, then invade the Viking kingdoms, unite them under one Norwegian ruler and proceed to make Alfred the great into 'Alfred the king who got stomped by the Vikings'. You also have a relatively easy time getting the three holy sites that you need (one in northern Norway, Jorvik and Paderborn are generally my go-to's since somehow Sweden always ends up super OP in my playthroughs).

The proper 867 start for raiding is to beeline Canterbury.

superb video i wish i could replicate it with custom ruler in uppland, everything false apart and builds against me, Boneless is still owner of Mann and is unbeatable has damn pwoerful allies close to my main land, ive been trying this three times and the three times everything fits together to ruin my plans, i panic in every war and faction lmao

I just got the game. I am playing on Xbox and love your videos. Noticed that you are able to switch lifestyles multiple times in the same lifetime. Is this a royal court thing? Xbox has no DLCs and I would love to play along side a video but didn’t seem able to flip lifestyles more than once a lifetime. Also I noticed I didn’t have the blot option. So I thought I would ask.

Fun fact to get close to the living legend prestige rank all you need too do is keep conquering land and forming their duchy it’s 300 prestige every time you do it it really adds up lol.

I think one of my favorite raiding spots on in the Spanish Peninsula along the lowest river there’s one starting for 60ish with good prisoners that can get up to 200 gold

Hey, actually you are able to found the holy order (Jomsvikings) in about 4 years from the start of the game if you play for the count Haesteinn, I managed to do it by invading Moravia dutchy via vanguardian adventurer and going to pilgrimage then after that.

I have tried a thousand times since Royal court came out and never managed. I tried with Bjorn Ironside, with whom it should be even easier due to the insane amount of prestige you can pile up.
I made it once, before royal court but it seems to be somehow different now...

You should check out jarl dyre (Kiev). He is the bastard son of Halfdan Hvitserk of Jorvik. So you can ally him if you get back into Diplo range. You can actually ally a bunch of really powerful vikings. And he's a genius. And if you become exalted among men you can declare the capital of the Russ, which sets the dev of Kiev to 25. He starts with 2800 event troops, a bunch of heavy infantry, so you can crush almost anyone at the start. But get rid of his wife, if your lucky you can get a 2nd gen blood father.

How did you made the Kingdom of Man if you need to be a Count or Duke for that? You just had took the Kingdom of East Francia!

You lose the ability to raid as a feudal reformed character. (Forming Mann auto gives you feudal even without the reform) You get more out of the pillage dynasty legacy by being able to raid. Forming the Kingdom of Mann seems like the one kingdom where it would pay not to reform.
