Blender 2.8 Beginner Modeling with Modifiers

Hey guys, just reuploaded the blend file cause it contained an error: The part in the center wasnt aligned correctly, so I fixed it!

What screencast key addon are you using?

I had just learned my way around 2.7 and now 2.8 seems very different! Can't even access my modifiers for some reason but sure I'm doing something wrong.

It's not a good idea to play music in the background. It make sense when you explain things... Music would be ok only if it is a speed art or something like that.

i normally love your tutorials, but without the voice-over it's a nightmare trying to follow, even with the key and mouse presses showing up. i hope you will go back to doing tutorials with a voiceover!

I do really appreciate your Blender tutorials, I'm a 3d Studio Max for the last 14 years. Blender does look like a great piece of software - My biggest fear of moving over to Blender is the short cut keys. Everything seems to be orientated by short cuts - which I find to be very overwhelming. But still, I don't want to take anything away from your tutorials as they're very inspirational. Excellent work yet again Jayanam and thanks for taking the time to help us novices.

What's the difference between shading, texture paint, and UV editing?

i would really like to see a tutorial starting from that model and texturing it with realistic wood material, give it different wood grain direction, maybe stain and imperfection in the wood, nails maybe, rusted handle etc, just to cover the basic of painting over existing texture with the principled shader. Oh, and great sharing btw! Really helpful!
