The orange monster really reminds me of the old mountain biking watches which were called Animal here in the UK anyone remember them?

The Flightmaster is still king. I can't stop looking at it, throw on the NDC strap it's unbeatable.

For anybody that doesn’t know Uncle Seiko (unlimited straps in the UK) recently started doing both an oyster and a president bracelet specifically for the Flightmaster. I bought the oyster for mine and it looks stunning on it, no more natos or leather straps from now on, the Flighty is staying on the bracelet. I have owned my Flighty for about eight years and paid £225 for it. I also have a Gen 1 Orange monster that I got for £175.

I have the 414, it's the best looking one.

Please explain how to use the Flightmaster alarm sub-dial as a second timezone dial. Please and thanks

I have an Islander SKX full lume and the Flightmaster. Marc's watch is phenomenal fit and finish for the money. The Flightmaster is insane value; it's so well done. I can't stop looking at that dial. I have a steeldive tuna and I like the size of it; however the monster never really appealed to me. If I was to get a new Seiko at $500 I would get the Turtle SRPE05. Green dail and gives me the Apocalypse Now vibes.

The Flightmaster is one of my favorite all-around versatile watches. Mine lives on one of Marc's Milanese mesh bracelets

What would I like Seiko to do with the Monster? Bring back the orange 2nd Gen, OF COURSE.

By switching back to rectangular indices since then, they threw away an iconic design. They are more important than the orange and black colors.

I bought my monster gen 2 orange for £170 and sold for £350 3 years after

the new seikos that interest me are the SEIKO5 Lefty Sport Land Shark Black Dial and the prospex NY0085. The first cause of its cool classic look and the second cause its an affordable mechanical with an on the fly strap adjustment.

Regarding the name 'Nizza' of TGV's watch band: it's the Italian spelling of Nice, that charming city in the south of France. Cheers! //Rick

I must say, I really like the turtle. It's a big watch but it wears very well and is quite legible.

Just love this Seiko 'love fest' and you guys knowledge on these magnificent watches, I don't own a 'Monster', but do have many Seiko Divers, from 7002 and SKX's up to an SLA023J1, so I get that 'Diver' vibe. I also own an SNA411, amazing value for money watch and a great travellers time piece that will last you for decades given a battery change or two, but what about a 'solar' version would be a brilliant update?
However, to me 'Flightmaster' will always be an Omega and I'm lucky enough to own a 'Cal911' rather than the much rarer '910' 24hr movement, but there you go!
Keep the 'out takes/moments' in there, we're all human when all said and done.............

I've been debating between the flight master and the nighthawk for a long time, but given the price difference now the choice has been made for me. Should've gotten a flighty at $250 while I had the chance...

I swapped the crystal on my SNA411 (flighty) for a sapphire one. nothing wrong with hardlex but I bought mine used with a nasty scuffed crystal. Having a little AR coating makes it look even better!

This is an impossible question... I love so many of them. SKX must be mentioned, it's one of the watches that got me really interested in watches (and yes, I got mine for just over 100USD as well hehe). My first bi boy watch was a Sportura chronograph, which I still own and love. the SNK which started my love affair with field wastches... That's wiyhout involving vintage stuff, the Kings and Grands.
That ending had me literally laughing out loud! You guys rock.

You can't claim to have the same watch for X amount of time if you sell it and re-buy the same model but a different watch.

I desperately need a seiko Sumo in my life but now it’s discontinued. Can either your good self or Mark recommend a reliable source to purchase a second hand Seiko. E-bay can be a minefield at times.

Flighty is my fist watch as a small collector copied your strap idea, still love it never change that strap never sell it so many people comment on it more vids please

Yup, I'm a Fligtmaster fan, I got mine on a leather band ,yeah, I wouldn't change anything, maybe some new colors, but that's it. Great topic,I still wearing my first generation Orange Monster, I bought it at Tg max for 60 dollars..thanks again on tell next time....

The trouble with seiko divers is they so easy to copy and they even have them made in the same place the copies are made. Take the nemo. The japan made and Indonesia made version have the 4r or the nh respectively with the only difference is the day wheel. So they copy cases and dails are every where yet they charge more for the Japan one and the better copies even match the lume at half the price and the bad ones are really cheap. Point is seiko have created this market so you buy new for a dealer instead of used from ebay or high street pawn shops. Ive had 3 skx's and 2 were good copies and the manta ray was genuine, i think, but thats my favorite.

Can anyone help? I bought a 'Gaybutt' watch from a dealer. It cost me 5k but he said it'll be worth twice that this time next year. That seems a great investment but I've been googling the brand & I can't find a single thing out about them. I can't contact the dealer because he just had a stall at an antique fair that I attended. He said it's a vintage wind-up watch but the thing on the side doesn't do anything. I took the back off and it looks more like the inside of a calculator. The only wording on the watch is the name Gaybutt.
