Ответить"For many Filipinos its kfc"
𝗝𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁
As a Filipino and also a Igorot, hanging coffins is a old tradition here also a belief that if we bury the dead they won't feel the sunlight, air and water also to be "closer" to god and prevents wild animals or people to dig the graves of the dead btw nice pronunciation of "Kan-kana-ey"
ОтветитьAs a Filipino, the "crab mentality" is the scariest part of the whole video.😅

ОтветитьI LEARNED THE PINA STORY IN SCHOOL
ОтветитьRed Horse beer was created in the Vietnam era. The US military had a strong presence, including the Combat Engineers known as RED HORSE.
The Red Horse men thought that the local beer (San Miguel) was not strong enough, so the company made a special brew, which they called Red Horse after the unit and utilized their logo for the logo of the beer. This beer was quite strong, 10+% alcohol at the time, and may have had liquor mixed with it then. It does not now. The logo, the red horse, is the logo which the RED HORSE unit used at that time. There is more than one version of the logo over time, as early on, they used several of the military unit's emblems.
All RED HORSE units across the country have bottles of Red Horse beer in their display cases in respect to the San Miguel company naming their product after the unit.
And of course.... TO THE HORSE !!!!
I search this because my friend share a post about Philippine history iceberg.
Ответитьchef ories face or whatever her name is gave me a fucking psychosis i hate seeing her face it gives me the damn chills i even have schizophrenia
ОтветитьAs a Filipino, I understand you butchered filipino terms but... this gave me a giggle and it's cute to hear those. Hilarious but... I understand that...
ОтветитьOk so if you leave you slippers out you die but if you don’t leave them out you also die
Ответитьthere's another story i'd like to add---i don't know what it's called, but they say if you hear somebody call your name from outside the house at night, you're not supposed to open the door or answer. there was supposed to be an entity that mimics the voice of people you know, they would ask you to follow them, and you will never be heard from again.
ОтветитьI live in the philipines and its okay if you say the words wrong :3
ОтветитьThe Monkey and the Turtle story is widespread all across Asia and some have crab in their stories instead of a turtle like that in Japan. "Tabi-tabi po" catchphrase is used as a sign of respect when you see and will cross an ant hill that some believe the dwelling place of a magical tiny dwarf creature so that he won't use his mischievous magic against you.
ОтветитьI am a Filipino but some of these urban legends i did not know until this video

I've been stuck indoors my entire life and never seen or heard anything from the world besides the internet, which became my bestfriend. Saw this out of curiousity and I feel like I have a nation crisis due to not knowing about 75% of these.
well does that matter since even my classmates doesn't accept me as a human back when I was studying.
the white girl starter pack is funnny as hell!
ОтветитьGood content you sir mny folk and urban legend more in the Philippines
The ILAGA group, lucila lalu chopchop lady, lapiang Malaya massacre and many More.
Mananabas were made into a film. But the mananabas in the film were a couple of supersoldiers powered by a mysterious power. These supersoldiers were survivors of a Silmido-style massacre.
ОтветитьSmall-time manufacturer Siopao containing cat meat spread was because of their cheap price, compared to the mainstream siopao makers.
And you missed Madlum River and the mystery about it, why it took so much lives annually. My sister died on that river, so is Julie Vega, a child star who supposedly contracted sickness after the film she last made was shot there. And the reason why Bear Brand commercial set on that site was criticised for being insensitive.
The "Chinese food is made from stray cats and stray dogs," is not just a Filipino thing. I grew up in Massachusetts (traditionally such a bastion of "liberal" thought, eh) and I heard that rumor frequently in my childhood back in the 70's, and the Kentucky Fried Rat thing dates back to my childhood days as well. Which begs the question; I've eaten at Jollibee and what Filipino would ever favor KFC over Jollibee?! horrified Sadly, the Japanese were incredibly brutal and vicious in war and it's a tragedy that their government has never apologized or made amends for the Red House incident.
Ответитьthere are also were hyenas and were tigers

ОтветитьAs a Filipino in Philippines we believe that if you stair at random guy and he can't stair at you directly it means he's an aswang
ОтветитьDo a serbian folklore
ОтветитьI think there was more darker story of any related to fear mongering to kids like taking your slippers inside or not leaving your washed clothes in lawn or outside due to occult/cult. Its more related to organ trafficking/kidnapping, always pop up when story surround when somebody in the certain area got lost, dissappear without trace and found somewhere dead.
Ответитьbri’ish cody ko
ОтветитьI live in Australia and my friend's mum thought instant noodles caused cancer too, and she was Anglo Australian, born here and came from several generations. So I don't think that was a Filipino one alone :)
