ОтветитьHi, I have a problem since the IRS start in the ON position and they are not clickable, and that causes the airplane not to align or whatsoever; nontheless, in this tutorial its evident that that switch is clickable. Is there anything I am missing? Thanks

ОтветитьI cannot for the life of me figure out why my plane is using thrust reduction as soon as the main gear leaves the ground. I feel like ive done everything verbatim (even your flight) from your video just to try to prevent this but no matter what, the thrust reduces to the climb profile as soon as I leave the ground. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm not sure if you have come across this issue I'm having on the 787-10, you have in fact got a few things straight for me in the past. I believe the problem is related to the autopilot in some way so here goes.
Flight plan created in Simbrief and imported directly into FMC. Details imported into the EFB and v-speeds calculated. My main test flight has been EGCC/EGPH. Flight level selected is FL200 and ILS approach. Takeoff none event full but the plain levels off at FL100 and won't climb any further by normal means. Disconnect the A/P and climb to FL200. When I get to TOD I select 5000ft and the aircraft starts descending. When it gets to 10000ft, it levels off. So, disconnect the A/P and descend manually down to 5000ft and reconnect A/P. When I get a bit closer, I select 3000ft and hit level change. From here all works fine, select LOC and then App and aircraft flies the approach and lands as it should.
No other plane of mine displays this behavior and I have got several Boeing and Airbus that I fly regularly but the 787 has always been a favorite of mine, especially one of the Boeing ones.
I'd love to hear from you if you have an idea. BTW, when I got the latest update, I cleared everything out and started from scratch and cleared all of the "Heavy mod" out to prevent any interference from that.
i don't know if im being stupid but how do i know the Kuro is installed properly? does it say it when selecting the 787-9 on the aircraft selection page?
Ответитьcant see the sel temperature in the takeoff performance page of the vas airplane toolbox, it just shows 3 things at the upper part, Flap, To tpr, and tow

ОтветитьI've only recently re-installed MS Flight Simulator. I had a crappy computer, but finally got around to building a beast. 4090 paired with a 13900K cpu. I set it up with the Oculus Quest 2, and I am in love with this game. I'm going to fly the shit out of the 787. It's my favorite airplane. I love that this exists, I'm going to lose many hours in this simulator.

Kind of confused on the route input, I have a flight plan but I’m unsure whether to put the code thing (for example UMLAT) in via or the to section. Some help would be much appreciated. 👍
P.S I realised this is a pretty terrible explanation of my problem so a better way of putting it may be I have a code from the flight plane (for example UMLAT) and I don’t know wether it is an airway or a vector way point.
I decided to upgrade to the premium deluxe version just because since I have game pass, I could buy it for sale

Ответитьgreat video! just a couple FYIs... when setting up MCP after all takeoff data is set actual V2, (not V2+10!) in the SPD window, setting +10 would cause problems in a engine failure situation...
Also, it is okay (and normal per Boeing and my airline at least) to set "AUTO" on the bank selector, setting 25 can also get you in trouble in an engine out. Also, this is typically when you select LNAV and VNAV. Don't forget to check TAKEOFF page 2/2 for thrust red and accel altitudes, set per your departure noise abatement (NADP 1 or NADP 2) and engine out proc. (usually 1000')

ОтветитьNow i remember why i love AIRBUS!!! This is SOooooo Antiquated, and its a shame as the Aircraft itself is loverly. Airbus A330 or Better still, the A350 walks all over this ancient Boeing !
Never-the-less Luke, you are the man for Tutorials, and 'IF' i ever get tempted into trying this Aircraft out, i shall use this series of Tutorials to hold my hand.

Quick question...What is the proper format to use when you are entering your descent speed restrictions after you enter your descent forecast winds? Normally I put 250/10000 but for some reason it says format error.
