My Owofan faucet has the split nut for mounting, which will not stay tight. Is there an option to get a nut without the split? What size would I need?
ОтветитьI have the same tap.. but trying to figure if one should keep that foam pad in the plate or not... I think yes to give bugs less of a hiding space.

Titles video: "how to install a new kitchen faucet"
Shows: non of those steps, just places it in the hole
Expects: Praise and subscribers 🤣
I love how it's as easy as unscrewing thos large bolt I can't get mine off and it isn't a normal bolt
ОтветитьEXCELLENT video!! I really dislike my kitchen tap so this will help me! Thank youuu
ОтветитьGotta love videos like this. The guy does this like it's just another something to do because he's bored. Bare feet, shorts and two tools. Easy on easy off. No problems, no stuck bolts or water lines. No knuckle busting up under the sink while your body is twisted like not since the last time you played the game "Twister". And of course no cussing, easy peasy! 😄😆😅
ОтветитьAwesome! You made it look simple as 1-2-3!!! I am looking at videos to teach myself to do this… you sold me!!! I could do this, thank you!
ОтветитьWhy you didn't use clear silicone to help prevent future leaks under your plate. That is the same plate that I have!
ОтветитьHey Ethan, I want to chime in and say I love when you've done these kinds of videos. There's so much more to cooking than JUST the cooking aspect and it's nice that you address things like kitchen organization and improvements. I'm currently shopping around for a new faucet for my kitchen and rather than looking up other videos, I went straight to yours because you demonstrate how simple it is even for noobs.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this. I'm going to switch mine out this weekend.
ОтветитьFaucet, sink. I get it.
ОтветитьSo nice! Thanks I love videos that simple and get right to the point! Excellent job bro
Ответить“Faucet plate” it’s an escutcheon buddy. You had a chance to use the word escutcheon and you fucked it up.
ОтветитьHello Ethan. I like your new faucet. Looks like your old sink is a chrome finish, right? Which color of faucet will goes well with chrome sink, besides the color you have now? Thanks.
ОтветитьNice vid….I’m just replacing mine now.. wasn’t sure how much sealant I needed to put between the gasket and the sink flange. ..the instructions that came with my unit only mentioned I needed caulk. Also, your sink faucet is waaaay sexier than mine, which is more reminiscent of the cookie-cutter builder grade crap from a 1980’s track home for just a few dollars less than yours 😢
ОтветитьDid u steal that stainless steel bowl in hospital?
ОтветитьCame for the sink and wasnt expecting a hot guy lol. yum
ОтветитьEthan, I'm glad you made this video because most videos on this topic are cheesy manufacturer's promos that gloss over the details, or they're made by people who don't have a lot of credibility. So thanks for this.
ОтветитьI have an air gap on my sink and I never knew what it was!!
ОтветитьHow is the faucet working after 1 year?
Ответитьperfect
ОтветитьI just tried to do this. But I have a line that runs off from the hot water supply hose. And don't know how to go about that because I still need that line since I assume it goes to my dishwasher. But also disconnecting before the T doesn't seem like it would work either.
ОтветитьTerrible.
ОтветитьThis is only simple in YOUR situation. Like me, I suspect a lot of people don't have cut off valves under the sink, not to mention the simple screw on method for the water line connectors.
ОтветитьSo no glue.? Before you in stall it.
Ответить@Ethan Chlebowski One thing I Wanted to know that you didn't show in this video is, how did you connect the hot & cold to the actual faucet
ОтветитьI want the same faucet u have but in stainless steel to match the appliances…this was very helpful
ОтветитьThis is great
ОтветитьWhat is the brand/make of the faucet? Would like to get the same one, will go well with my decor :)
ОтветитьFolks - this is a great video, and super helpful but DO NOT DO THIS IN A RENTAL. If you cause flooding and damage, you will be held responsible. Buy the faucet, ask your landlord to install it. When the landlord says no, request permission in writing. Don't be reckless.
ОтветитьHow did your apartment come with that faucet in a kitchen with that range hood?
ОтветитьThank you!! Short and sweet!!!
Ответитьplease share link where you bought the tap
ОтветитьBaloney, PLEASE , describe what the beneath the sink look liked, REMOVE and install the MOUNTING hardware is the MOST difficult part and you IGNORE that.
ОтветитьThis was helpful! Thx
Ответитьso helpful! definitely doing this when im off this weekend!
ОтветитьSaved me a LOOOOT of truble!
ОтветитьI installed this very same kitchen faucet. Can anyone help me figure out why after weeks my water still looks very cloudy
ОтветитьMay someone explain to me what is the round black thing on the right? What is that ?
ОтветитьI watch all of your recipe videos and was looking to upgrade my sink like yours. Did a quick google search for a tutorial and here you are. You are a home cook god. Also buying some of those kitchen organizers from your other video lol. Thanks man.
ОтветитьHi Ethan! I wonder hows the faucet doing till now? Is it standing still and doesnt give you any hard times? Im thinking about buying it but also thought that this faucet isnt a long last one. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for the tut!
ОтветитьLove this video
Ответить😊
ОтветитьThanks for the video how-to! Did you have to cut the caulking around the original base of the original faucet or was there no sealant used? I noticed you didn’t use a sealant with the new faucet.
ОтветитьHow’s the faucet holding up since the vid’s upload?
ОтветитьThe how was clear, but the why was quite brief. It'd be nice to know how that design of faucet might be better than other faucet designs. Great work space though!
ОтветитьWhat if I have different valve's?
Ответить
