ОтветитьYou may enjoy the work of OTT
ОтветитьI would pay to see you in an empty room for 48 hours with nothing to do.
Ответитьgood stuff :)
ОтветитьI love it! Wild setup!
Ответитьyyou can like or dislike the result, but this is what "a pipe that connect the brain to the hands pushing out music" looks like :)
ОтветитьКакой же ты крутой, бро!!!!
Ответитьwell done! but for a few months i've been hoping that you would add a gameboy module somewhere near mr. firby
ОтветитьLike many others I found both the original performance and this breakdown enormously helpful. I'm trying to put together some live songs via modular myself, and it is NOT intuitive or easy, at first. I don't see a lot of folks doing things other than EDM and ambient/experimental with modular, but you're showing us what's possible.
ОтветитьI've left at least a dozen similar comments, you're a mad genius and i love your for it.
ОтветитьHats off to you Sam for being able to remember this. I can write and learn complicated music on a few different instruments, but I always get really stressed trying to remember button presses and patch changes on synths when playing live.
ОтветитьHave a brain injury that makes memorizing stuff difficult. So glad to have sequencers i can produce on.
ОтветитьYour stream link is dead bwoi! ;)
ОтветитьThe mic was the first thing i thought about when i decided i wanted to do live performances. I had this old (i wanna say Polish) gas mask and found a box of rotary phones. and one day goofing around i put it on and acted like the phone was a wireless cellular phone and noticed the canister piece was about the same size. I wish i could upload a picture.
ОтветитьThis reminds me a lot of the sort of complicated nonsense I had to figure out as part of an electronic duo. My partner was the vocalist but didnt play any instruments, so I had to figure out how to run 10+ tracks simultaneously using a combination of Ableton and live playing, while also mixing vocals and effects at the same time.
Trying to remember all the cue points, settings, effects changes etc. in real time for a whole set, while also looking like I was having fun on stage was quite the logistical challenge!
Oh, and also setting up and packing down suitcases full of gear and cables, often in a dark corner of the atage while other acts were performing 😂
you are good musican , pesnja
Ответитьhello thanks bro ! love your videos !! I wonder How you play on synth without the rhythm and have it perfectly on pace/perfect rhythm when you play it ?
ОтветитьAwesome
Ответить"Memorize hand movements" - yeah well... like any instrument ever... except you just have to start again for every single different synth you play lol
ОтветитьI went to Patreon because you never asked me to.
Ответитьif you want headphones with a mic, sennheiser gaming range, check em out. I've had mine for over 4 years and they are super comfortable and good build and sound quality.
ОтветитьSongs have WORDS. Have done for thousands of years. These are not songs - they're TUNES.
ОтветитьWhy is the size a selling point when you can do nothing with it out of the studio. What's the point? I really think Behringer should stick to copying, creating doesn't seem to be their strength
ОтветитьKEYGEN music.
i liked this.
Isn't a Keystep Pro with the keyboard chopped of just a crappier version of the Beatstep Pro with an extra channel?
ОтветитьSo many moving parts, I couldn't do same..
Ответитьhi My idea for a hands- free mic would be the beyerdynamic MMX 300 wich is kindof a studio headphone with a pritty serius mic for a hedset. i mean the cable ends in xlr for the mic and just the regular big ass headphone plug. however i'm not shure how the mic behaves in a louder live performance environment because it's realy ment to be like a really good mic for like streaming, gaming ore somthing idk.
by the way it was realy cool meeting you at the museum
Bloody hell, I'm love with him again.🤦♀️ I can't help thinking about you. Every time I come to see it, the thumbnail pose is the same.🤦🏼 I do this gesture in a good way. And you? I don't know. lol. You’re on fleek! 😘
ОтветитьХорош
ОтветитьHead-fudge, indeed!😂
ОтветитьLooking forward to see you in London Oslo 22.11.2023. Greetings from Germany :) Flights and Hotel are booked.
ОтветитьSpanktastic babes x
Ответитьbrilliant you really got me buzzing, gotta get my roland juno and sh101 fixed (303 rackmount. beatstep not pro/logic pro/analoge lab and modular v3 operational) fix my leaking roof or buy a modular synth? tough choice. not for my wife!
ОтветитьYou guys remember that song Sam recorded a year or so ago, he screwed up and yelled behind the mike and then kept going? And we all thought it was magic! I wouldn't want those interactions to be forced, but I wouldn't mind seeing more of that either. It makes the experience feel a bit more real and natural, like you're there. Keep making awesome work. I really love this channel.
Ответить😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьWhen are you going to colab with Aphex Twin?
Ответить<3
Ответитьas always, good stuff all the way.. cheers man, that was a lot of good ideas, thanks
ОтветитьGreat Video Sam it's an absolutely banging riff you could really drag it out loads of peaks and troughs. Really interesting seeing how you work. 😊
ОтветитьFantastic, simply great
ОтветитьA polyend play might be a good alternative to the beatstep pro
ОтветитьI like the mic you are using.
ОтветитьGo for a Bob Log III style microphone of a telephone glued into a motorcycle helmet
ОтветитьInteresting you're considering replacing the Circlon for a Keystep Pro. I know in the past you've complained about the tiny keyboard, but I suppose the full-size custom keys you have below would easily sidestep that. Maybe consider adding some "UV" LEDs to the control surface? Looks cool, and maintains readability in the dark. 😁
Ответитьthis dude is brilliant.
ОтветитьCan you program this song into Joan's organ? Hire a chorus!
ОтветитьI have seen a great vid showing some 15w combos, broken out, plugged into a 1x12 or 4x12, sounding pretty good. I tried it with an old Peavey ( not the Q.O.T.S.A one). Turns out it sounded garbage. Just gor shits and giggles I tried the actual combo speaker with a different amp. It actually had a great sound. Probably not something to use on its own, but it would give a great sound for some overdubbing or running parallel. My point is, stray from perceived wisdom. Try stuff and not just what the tuber guru's recommend, especially whilst you've hot ghe guts hanging out anyway.
ОтветитьFunny, I was watching the original original Stand and Deliver just a couple days ago just for feels
ОтветитьDid you thought about a robotic microphone stand ...? One that can place the mike automatically where you want it to be... One or two different placement near the modular , and another near the MS10 so you can sing while playing it ...;) I guess you did more difficult and silly projects ;) ... Love your content ! :)
