With all the tech, Max Verstappen is still the greatest driver and talent of Formule 1 in generations. Even Lewis hamilton with that W11 rocketship couldnt do what Max is doing now and that says enough

Fluid dynamics, we were so focused on formulas derivations etc etc never got a chance for a practical. What a waste of knowledge

The main reason why RB is not as dominant anymore now was actually Perez Manoco crash. Of course the other teams took note and came with their own "RB floor" in the second half of the season. All the other aero changes brought just very little improvement as wings and body are way worse in efficienctly creating downforce. We could perfectly see this with Merc, as the went away from zero sidepod design, which made them even slower at first. Without unveiling RB's floor in Monaco, Max still would be 1 sec faster on qualy laps than anybody else.(Perez seems not be able to make use of the extra sauce RB has in it's floor) .
