ОтветитьRemember to drink the water you boil or steam your vegetables in..add sea salt and black pepper to it ,it tastes yummy...a lot of the minerals get boiled or steamed out in the cooking process..

I have a hard time remembering that:
Sodium == Natrium and
Potassium == Kalium
Irritating to have to look this up for every video, so I'm writing this down here to remember, and will do some fasting to possibly improve my memory and brain 😅.

ОтветитьWhen I feel slight hunger, I take 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar , add a little bit of fresh lemon juice and in a cup of water and I drink it up . My hunger subside.

ОтветитьI am type 2 diabetic and tried fasting 16/8 for a few months, and it made my sugars worse. I was still pulling high numbers 12 -15 I started seeing a natural path told not to continue that I needed to eat protien based diet veg fruit.. I also have R.A. P.A hashimotos pcos. I honestly don't have much of a appetite in general so food factor or craving are minimal. My inflamation is out of control I've been on AIP diet taking immunomodulating and adaptigens supplements to help with my over active immune system. This has been a long journey. The ra is worse now and medical dr is saying I need meds for Ra diabetes...I'm refusing but I am in pretty bad shape and feeling desperate I've really worked hard in helping my gut heal from ibs aswell and just not sure what else I can do..I know this is a lifelong journey and it takes time but the RA is making me feel like I'm running out of time. Need help 😢

ОтветитьDuring extreme fasting have stock some quick noodles/ramen packets, boiled eggs, salad, lemon juice etc.
Eat/drink when you feel week and your hands start shaking.
Can you be successful losing weight if you don't cut out carbs? * By fasting alone.
I can do the fasting no problem 16-20 hours but I want to eat my high fiber breads, beans, fruit and whole grains, and not be buying all this carb free fake sugars.
I need to gain weight so fasting feels completely wrong for me at this time.

ОтветитьDr. Berg, I wanted to say thank you for this knowledge. Why standard in hospital doctors wouldn’t recommend this over shoving “weight loss” pills down people that rarely work and cause more side effects than benefits, is crazy.
I watched your videos just before COVID hit. 6’2” was 240lbs. I followed your information in this and your other videos cover Intermittent Fasting. I got down to 177lbs which blew my mind in around 3-4.5mths. I felt like I was losing to much, so stabilized at 195lbs. Which I’m happy with and feel more energized given the reason you’ve explained why the body will.
This was 4yrs ago. Still float between 190-195. Still more emerged than when I ate the “recommended” breakfast/snack/lunch/snack/dinner.
Not only has it improved my life, but also my friends and family members who have followed your guidance.
From the bottom of my and their hearts, thank you. You’re changing and saving peoples lives. You’re a good man for providing such in-depth and detailed information about heath. For free. The world needs more people like you and less like corporations. Cheers and blessings to you!

ОтветитьSo I have a lot of diagnosed gut issues. I recently took a trip and ate things that would definitely not good choices and had a flare.
I have H pylori, gastritis, celiac, and most likely, malabsorption, leaky gut or SIFO. I need to find a new GI in the Miami area. My last GI who did my upper and lower endoscopies had a terrible bedside manner and I think she disrupted something. I have never had issues with bowel movements and now I can't even tell the difference between gas, a bowel movement, or just an upset stomach. I'm very upset.
On top of all of that, I am underweight. So I'm doing the 3-day fast for a reset but I really need to gain 10 to 15 lb. Help, please
I've been on the carnivore diet just over 2 months. One month in, my desire to eat naturally ended up at 1x per day. My weight loss was good up til then, but took off like crazy after eating once a day. I'm down over 30lbs, and I've hit a really good grove with my fitness and energy levels. I've had challenges with cravings, the first week keto-flu, and not eating socially. But overall it has been fairly easy. I've never physically transformed this fast in my life and I'm starting to approach 50.
Yesterday, I started my 1st 72hr fast. I'm excited to see the outcome. My health benefits thus far have been a massive reduction of inflammation, and absolutely erased my psoriasis which is shocking. For the first time in my life I suddenly found myself taking mid day naps, which have been great. I sleep really hard now, and snoring is almost totally gone. My allergies are usually raging all throughout spring and summer, and those are now gone.
Weight wise I hit 181 yesterday, down from 215. I guess the worst part of this is I'm going to have to buy all new clothes.
Dr Eric berg i need help, i feel better focus and i sleep better in my 3 days of fasting, but my inflamation in the body make Worse, and i suspended. What i can do, if i continued it will be better?
