Yeah it's insane just how many layers there are every time i make a drawing i have a lot of layers each of them with what part i made even though i wanted as few layers as possible.

kinda late but your art mesh messes with your line more, there's a specific way you can mesh which helps preserve more of your line style. auto mesh Is fast and all but manual mesh is for me an always, cause my line work can be quite thick and carry even though i have a more anime style.

Honestly i think the physics part needs to be explained more but i can't really find any guides for it

i swear figuring out how to use warp deformers and rotation deformers together was a PROCESS

I used puppet rigs for animation professionally. I can confirm that the hardest thing to learn was faking rotation on a 2D puppet. It gets easier as you begin to understand it but it takes a lot of patience to learn right.

Watching these makes me want to do so much more with my Oc so I never finish this vid

for smoother eye blinking use less control points on your deformer path! the more there are, the spikier itll make your lines look because theres so many different points trying to move the mesh different ways. you only need 3-4
