I did this but it did not work. I changed it but when I go in Messages, it says 'See default SMS app" Soo go back and it wants me to change back. It will not allow me to see all my history.

I like the Google messages app, but since i got my S23 with two phone numbers one on a physical SIM and the other on an eSIM and when i open my default phone number and try to send a text to itself the text comes back on my OTHER phone number! T-Mobile isn't able to get it corrected so far!

I did it in Dad's car.
