I love this video short and to the point. Adding a lower tier gpu is something every benchmark type of channel should do.

Hell yeah. Got my brother a 5700x for 160 and the 5800x3d is still somehow almost 300 bucks haha. Screw that.

5700x and 5800x are almost same price in my country while the 5800x3d is about 60% more (which i don't think it's worth)

According to Bard the AI from Google (USA VPN needed) it says the 5700x has the current best price to performance ratio of all the cpu on the market. I got the 5700x for about USD $200. I am lucky I did not jump too soon on the 5600x bandwagon. Now I have an 8 cores that performs better for almost the same price as the 5600x and with low watts consumption. Will be good for a good 5 years in my opinion. Perhaps even more given the market seems to slow down.

Ok, so, right now, i can buy 5800x and 5700x for same price where i live (190eur).. 5800X3D costs 326 eur, so its out of my list.. I have AM4 with R3600 and 32gig RAM, 6700xt and 550W power supply.. which would you pick? ( i have 1440p /165hz mnonitor )

Also the best comparison video I have ever seen, both 3060 and 3080 is considered in performance tests

This was a great comparison video and covered so many areas however id loved to have seen benchmarks for more competitive, cpu bound games for a cpu comparison video as the gpu bound games dont tell you much about the cpu's performance.

5700x Best CPU for Price and GAME

Paid £150 for 5700x and happy then ever, pairing it with the Asus Strix 4070 TI, which again i got a last item on stock on a shop, for £499. All hooked to Asus Strix B550-F Gaming WIFI II and a Thermaltake GF1 850W PSU.

Why so many dislikes ? One of the more precise benchmark I seen, and compare CPU's with both 3060 & 3080 is really good to see the impact at every resolution/ tier of graphic cards.

Currently using a system with an MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max mobo with 32GB 3200 ram, R5 3600x and GTX 1660 SUPER. Getting a $200 christmas gift upgrade coming up that is the R7 5700X. It may not be the best in all the charts, but it's the overall value that cant be ignored.

finally someone who tests at low settings and gpus other than rtx 3090

should include 1440p testing, nobody is really going to use this cpu for 1080p

Thanks so much for including the 3060. Most people nowadays are on a 1080ti or lower so what the 3080 scores is almost completely irrelevant. I wish more people would do like you and have a 1080ti equivalent in the mix as well to see how the CPU scales with a worse graphics card. There really is no point in buying the 5800x3d if you have a 1080ti or a 3070

The 5800X3D came out two years too late & $200 to expensive only a mug who bought into the hype would buy such a processor

When you look at the scores, keep in mind that the R7-5700X has a TDP that is FORTY PERCENT LOWER than the R7-5800X & R7-5800X3D. It was also $100CAD cheaper than the 5800X and over $300 cheaper than the 5800X3D.

It didn't take a genius to realise what an absolute BARGAIN that the R7-5700X had become. I just couldn't say no.

5800x3d needs very high end graphics card with it, like 6800xt and up, or 3080 and up.
otherwise, you are better off even with 5600x in games (for windows tasks, 5800x is a clear winner over 5600x and 5700x, it's priced fairly given the performance)

Could you test a game called (teardown) with the 5800X3D. I want to know whether it's a worthwhile upgrade to my 2600X. It's the most CPU intensive game I have, and framerate absolutely tanks when doing anything other than running about on some maps.

funny part is 5800x3d can not be OCed so it sucks vs my r5-5600x oc to 4.9Ghz if I want but run 4.8Ghz for all cores locked and getting 1586 points in cinebench r23 one core

Why do you test in low grafics? Can you repeat this test with 5900x and the highest game number you get? As the oldest time when you test 29 games.
