What is this shit you need the new nintendo playstation shell 😊
ОтветитьNice upgrade i really like it.
ОтветитьIt's actually not half bad, though it's just a custom case with no upgrades included.
ОтветитьI'd love one in original colours. Most SFami/PAL SNES consoles have yellowed really badly and some don't turn nice after retrobright. Having a brand new shell with the original colours would be excellent!
Ответить🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьIf case is cracked, sure.
ОтветитьI like the clear black color
👍👍™️
Good project and cool video Wicked!👉🏼🙂👈
ОтветитьI'm kind of surprised they made a replacement controller port board; however if you have an American SNES that you want to transplant into one of these cases, the original board won't work but this replacement will!
Ответить50 bucks is kinda insulting
ОтветитьI am so going to have to get one of these for my SFC because this makes it to where I can use US games on my Japanese system without having to shell swap them before playing them.
ОтветитьThe Wish / Temu version of what macho naccho is showing, as usual.
ОтветитьI've thought about doing this with a refurbished SFC system, but I don't have a problem with the existing shell.
Ответитьlooks nice and seems to work well
ОтветитьI got an n64 case from temu but had so many issues trying to get the screws in. Sent it back in the end. Tempted to get one of these though
ОтветитьWicked time with packages
ОтветитьI love these videos 😍
ОтветитьI replaced my snes ntsc shell , it didn’t come with a new controller port board , surprised to see this one does for the same money , shame how no logo’s / make or model shown on it , kids today will think it’s for making toasted sandwiches . Still another brilliant video, looking forward to the fat ps2 shell swap & Saturn model 1 👍
ОтветитьCan this shell be used with an american snes pcb?
ОтветитьThey should have included self taping screws but I can't tell if that's actually what they sent you.
ОтветитьWooow, the console looked gorgeous on that black crystal clear. Looked like if Nintendo officially went on try to reach on match with NeoGeo, PC Engine and Sega Mega Drive's coolness counterpart. No more childish toy for kids anymore.
ОтветитьGEHT TOO THEE CHOPPA 🎉😂😂👍👍
ОтветитьNever seen your channel before, but that intro... You've got some serious Wario energy.
ОтветитьAll it needs are some decals in white, then it would look great. That's one of the things I don't particularly like with some reproduction shells is all the labelling is missing. I know why it's missing, but still...
ОтветитьThis has been in my cart since it was on preorder. Thank you for confirming my choice on pulling the trigger! Friggin love you wicked.
Ответитьi just swapped a PS2 board and power board into a cheapo Chinese recycled black plastic shell...it really is low quality...what do you expect for 20 dollars...nothing compared to this SNES shell case...id've paid double to get this quality...but at least mine looks ok if you don't get too close...and the lid isn't warped and scratched all over like the original 20 odd years old one...i'll try to repair the old shell...but i doubt i'll get the concave shape out of it back to flat...hot air gun for a few seconds a go might help if i'm careful enough...or i might just make it worse...and then i'll bin it in frustration
ОтветитьI have brought a lot of customs shells from "This is cool" retro brand, i got a few dreamcast see through shells, ps1 and ps2 shells, I would recommend using the original screws than the replacement screws.
Ответитьthis is the best anti yellowing remedy I've seen so far 🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьit is quite ugly.
ОтветитьLooks good, but somehow misses a bit of the usual coolness-factor of transparent shells; I might have an original shell painted piano-black instead
ОтветитьI think i like this better than a completely transparent one. Looks great!
ОтветитьA 20 minute video to changing the chasing? Really?

I bought an ugly looking super famicom for cheap, placed the board in the new shell, got two 8bitdo sn30 2.4g in smoked black and an sd2snes pro in a smoked cartridge. Looks awesome!
I desoldered the power-connector and the RF-Box and soldered the new power-connector in place. No need to re-solder the rf-box. Worst picture quality, eats power and creates interferences with the other components.
So the soldering-part was easier as needed.
Yes, you won't see the semi-translucent backside but you know that it's there ;)
Highly recommended replacement case!
