Even a year later, this mod continues to send intense chills down my spine. Easily one of the saddest mods out there, and I love it just for that alone. If the ending of HOME wasn't sad enough, the final cutscene really does it.

Even when Boyfriend is visibly suffering, he still has a good singing voice that sounds more emotional.

Boyfriend:If I suffer, I got to at least get an FC rank.

When I saw GF start to get corrupted I knew it was going to hell, but seeing her die mid song was the most "Oh shit" moment for me, not only because now I don't have the cute metronome, but if she was trying to contain something or hold something together, it will now do so unbotheredly, I thought she was holding Natsuki back at first, but she was keeping the entire world together to let BF rap.

This’s definitely a very depressing but intriguing “bad end” to the DDTO mod, and I love how much like the game itself, Sayori’s song starts out all happy and unassuming before show the mod’s disturbing true colors.

Classic Natsuki moment, getting her unique thing being just a different version of someone else's thing.

We have the good and bad ending… tho it makes me wonder. Will they expend upon what plus offers? Cause I personally think that things are not finished just yet.
Btw I mean the story in general with the actual game

I love this mod, i felt so bad for Monika and everyone else, like, damn it really left like they were alive.

This masterpiece really felt like the creepy portion of DDLC and I absolutely loved every minute of it. Can’t believe what I’ve just witnessed right now, mad props to the developers.

I love this mod the first was was one of the best mods I have ever seen but this one rocked I like the alternate ending Style of it and the songs got shook And grooven a the same time

It’s upsetting to know that everyone is dead at the end of this mod everything fell apart because Monika failed to return to DDLC and because of that everyone payed the price even Bf yes he is dead in the ending that pose he’s doing at the end is his last pose he did before he died the songs were amazing and all but the consequences were dier the game deleted itself after everything along with everyone in it

Sayori in the thumbnail looks like she's happly summoning the mod's logo, like she knows what's gonna happen and thinks it's fine

There’s something I’d like to point out about the backgrounds. The background looks like it breaks down in each song. In Stagnant, the background starts to look like sketches, like what you see in concept art when developers are designing a game. In Makrov, Yuri and the speakers start glitching/corrupting, as if the code was slowly being chipped away from them. In Home, the background starts to break down into deteriorating code and once the song ends, all that’s left is Natsuki, Yuri, Sayori, and Girlfriend’s corpses before everyone rots away into code.

So I kind of had this problem with DDTO as well as in this What-if, I really REALLY doubt that Girlfriend and Boyfriend can be manipulated in the way that the Mod tends to show us, Because remember that BF and GF aren't actually "Game Characters" in the world of Fnf, And DDLC is just a Game too them, So while very spooky and crazy/scary to see BF and GF get harmed by Monika and the weird "Glitchy" aspects about DDLC as a whole shown here, I don't think it would actually result in their death.

In DDLC you're playing a Game, And you can choose what it is you want to do with anyone in the Game, You're "Above" them in every aspect of the word, Boyfriend would be the equivalent of this, And Girlfriend? She's a freaking DEMON dude, The DDLC Story may be rooted in some satanic stuff going on, But Girlfriend is a literal Demon, She wouldn't be affected by anything that's happening in the slightest.

I'll definitely give it to you that Boyfriend could probably be effected somewhat though.

Just remember that Hate Simulator is supposed to be nearly identical to DDLC from what we can see/are told, And yeah, Daddy Dearest shoved BF and GF into that Game, Meaning that they aren't actually supposed to be "Game Characters" in the same way that everyone in the Game itself was. "Which is why Spirit was able to break the Game apart so easily when he busted out of Senpai, He's someone on the same level as BF and GF after-all"

Just a thought I had stirring for a while for the DDTO Mod xD



I freaking loved everything about both the OG one and this What-if, Heck this one shows the "Horror" a LOT better then the OG one did, But in the same way that DDLC itself is a Visual Novel that has a CRAZY amount of text in it, I don't think I'd view one of these Mods being better then the other, You have the OG one for the Story, And you have this one for the Horror. Combined they make an actual PERFECT Mod that show-cases DDLC to the best it could have ever been shown by any Mod ever.

I seriously don't think any Mod has ever been/will be capable of showing the same level of Love that was put into this, "Specifically if you combine both Mods as I said before" Like these 2 Mods combined is basically what actual perfection looks like when it comes to recreating DDLC in a Fan-game, I couldn't imagine it any better then this, And that's saying a lot o/
