Hi Sir,
I have a query. I have EPF and PPF - Me and My Wife (housewife)
80C limit is 1.5 lac - EPF + PPF(s)
Can I claim 80 C if I deposit in my Wife and Kid PPF?
Even if 1.5 lac limit crossed, will I still get interest on all my PPF(s)?
example,
1.5 lac in my PPF + EPF
1.5 lac in my Wife PPF
1.5 lac in my Kid PPF
80 C has been covered even already with my EPF / PPF.
will I still get interest of
1.5 lac in my PPF(7.1 %) + EPF (8.5 %)
1.5 lac in my Wife PPF(7.1 %)
1.5 lac in my Kid PPF(7.1 %)
And off course main thing return would be tax free (EEE)?
