What about the Tokyo firestorm? What about the nuclear bombs? What about juno and sword beach? What about the eastern front?
Ответитьeverything they have fought for are being disrespected buy all these activists and gay people calling them self brave for coming out as gay is this most pitiful thing I have ever heard this is bravery, truly disgusting what American has turned into these soldiers would not happy one bit but If these soldiers knew what American would be today they still would go out fight no questions asked these are true heroes giving the ultimate sacrifices for their country I am so thankful for these men this was best generation of men there ever will be thank you to all you who served I have the upmost respect for you 🫡
Ответить...you are aware that paratroopers were also deployed right? .. right?
Like the Brecourt storm by a fraction of E company of 101st led by 1st Lt. Winters that is literally being taught on West Point as a perfect example of improvisation and fantastic tactical thinking. The pathfinders destroyed like half of the inland batteries shelling Omaha and Utah even though like 75 % of them were still scattered all across Normandy.
Yes the bloodbath on Omaha was the main event, but you've missed out an entire part of the whole operation.
RIP D-DAY HEROS .
🇺🇸💔🇺🇸💔🇺🇸💔
isnt the battle of stalingrad the most blodiest figth
ОтветитьI went to gold beach a couple of years ago which was quite interesting
ОтветитьImagine all those people that never existed because their fathers died on the battlefield.
Ответитьblue hair tiktok girl is still stronger and braver
ОтветитьFunny, coincidence I’m born on June 6😊
ОтветитьAs an American I feel bad about the D-Day story I thank all troops for there service, Blessed Be.
ОтветитьThank God this did not last like Iwo Jima. I’m not a religious man, but God bless the best generation to ever live.
ОтветитьHe was not Omaha beach it was nobody
ОтветитьOh common you cant consider anything on western front as deadliest day :/ this is sadly a calm day on eastern front in comparison
ОтветитьHe only talked about omaha.
ОтветитьD-Day: We dah bloodiest event in history
Stalingrad: Are u sure about that ?
Band of brothers
ОтветитьYou forgot the part when one private gets lost in enemy teritory
ОтветитьJust saying from a documentary of a ww2 paratrooper on d-day there were no thermite high explosives. Termite grenades would be dropped down the barrel of a cannon to melt out the base of the barrel and anything near there. Just a cool detail
ОтветитьTo think my grandpa could have died during the invasion makes me sad and how many people had died during the invasion and thru out the war
ОтветитьI am an American and proud to be one but this title is wrong. The bloodiest days of ww2 where in stalingrad where the russians crushed the Germans and put them on the defensive for the rest of the war. American victorys where great ut by the time we entered the germans already lost. America involvement just made it end sooner
ОтветитьMy great uncle was a paratrooper on d day
ОтветитьD Day was nothing compared to the Battles of Iowa Jima and Okinawa against Japan
ОтветитьI watched this! ❤❤❤🎉😂
ОтветитьThank you all veterans you will forever be in our s. Thank you all veterans you will forever be in our s.
ОтветитьMy great uncle Charles was in the navy in WW2. My grandmothers older brother, I personally never met him he died in 1976 due to lung cancer.... My grandmother said he came home in 1945 in October after being deployed since shortly after pearl harbor.... The only thing he ever said to my grandmother about the war was " its unbelievably horrific what man is capable of laura lee, not a day goes by i dont think about what ive done or help do all i can hope is that god will understand when i die one day. Now please dont ask me about the war ever again." He really just stayed to himself for the most part after he was discharged from the army he had a pention and drank alot after the war my grandma says he was never totally drunk. But almost always smelled like beer.
ОтветитьWhat's sickening is our officials during the time knew exactly what would happen to the draftees who were forced to participate in operation overlord and Neptune. Every person standing in the front of the tank had NEGATIVE ZERO chance of survival because of the relentless mg42 fire. I can't be any more grateful for the sacrifice these men and even teenagers made for each and every one of us who stand here today. The way the US is going now makes me feel like we didn't deserve their sacrifice..
ОтветитьNot to take anything from the Soldiers who participated in D-Day but the First day of the battle of Stalingrad was the bloodiest day of WWII.
Some would argue the Bloodiest day was when America dropped the Atomic Bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Upon seeing the devastating energy unleashed by the splitting of the atom, Mark Twain stated "I cannot today conceive of the weapons with which WW3 might be fought, but WW4 will be fought with sticks and stones.
How frightening. How utterly true.
Pretty sure ya mean bloodiest day on the western front cuz uhh
Looks at Stalingrad and Aachen
Y’know what never mind
My great grandfather was a paratrooper during this battle and he lost his legs to flak
ОтветитьWhere were the russians ,?,
ОтветитьWasn't the bloodiest battle Stalingrad? Also there are other beaches!!
ОтветитьEarl Rudder, the colonel mentioned multiple times, was a fighting Texas Aggie and many things are are named after him in College Station. Whoop!
ОтветитьGood video! The Canadian Prime Minister's name wasn't William Lloyd Mackenzie King, but William Lyon* Mackenzie King. Thanks for the history!
ОтветитьThe soviet union won ww2 D-day was not necessary.
ОтветитьTo all of the heroes of that Day: thank you!
ОтветитьMy Great Uncle Freddy was a part of the group that stormed Normandy. He was one of the lucky ones that got out unharmed, both physically, and mostly mentally (thankfully only minor PTSD, which he got over after about 25 years). He used to tell me the story of that day when I was little, and as I got older and could handle more mature themes, he told me more and more details that he left out in previous tellings. He passed away in 2017, but to this day and for the rest of my life I will be proud of him. Rest In Peace Uncle Freddy, you've more than earned it.
ОтветитьLove the minute by minute series.
ОтветитьCan you imagine that happening in this day and age not one person would be brave enough to set foot on that
ОтветитьWhat if d day happened today?
ОтветитьAlot of Americans died that day , just so all this fuckery in 2023 can be possible in America. What a shame.
Glad im not American, i jist came to take your jobs lol 😂
Surely bloodiest day was hiroshima?
ОтветитьD-day wasnt the bloodiest day in ww2
Ответитьword for word is all of this facts ? how can i fact check
ОтветитьOne thing you forgot, was the paratroopers
Ответитьamerican .... AND troops from the rest of the world, all british colonies and more... just saying, they were very downplayed in this video
ОтветитьI'm surprised you didn't say anything about the fake landings at Calais. I'm also shocked you didn't mention anything about Teddy Roosevelt Jr
ОтветитьI met a D-Day survivor many years ago when I worked at Target. He told me that if you didn't know any better, you'd swear the water was naturally red due to the amount of blood in there.
ОтветитьNo one and I mean no one will be able to imagine or even picture what it looks like during D-day.
Ответить
