I'm currently playing survival mode and I've lost 2 fucking hours by dying twice from this fucking courser

I guess I underestimated Mama Murphy. She proves to be more helpful than I expected.

This isn't a hard battle really. I remember the easiest time being when I just pulled up a few grenades and missiles.

So the code causes the courser to run into the wall? Which also seems to knock them out.

I hate this character. I'm impatient and she talks hella slow. I just avoided her throughout the game wherever I could

i just did this by accident in my playthrough. I gave mama murphy some jet at the sanctuary and she told me that, I thought nothing of it until the option came up to say that to the courser. dude just fell to the floor

How did.. you.. DISCOVER THIS!

All these years later and I never knew this... I always got her off the chems. :/

You know the coursers in this game a joke it takes just one shot from a fat man to completely vaporize their ass.

Ok, thanks for this video. I was so freaking confused as to how the hell my character knew the factory reset code for this guy when I'd never met him before.

i wonder if you can tell this to the man in charge of synth division in the institute, since he asks you how exactly did you manage to take down a courser

Jeez; the sight is starting to move into supernatural levels of power; there is no chance she could have known about such a detail

This is the literal only reason I ever visit Sanctuary, it’s the only reason to ever help Preston at concord, after doing diamond city blues is the best time. After this she asks for psycho and pretty much says the game ending and dies. Overall the Courser boss fight depending on difficulty isn’t that hard but I wanted the stealth Boys so I almost always inevitably pop by the Murphy and spend like 5 minutes waiting a day each time to give her a Chem before making her quit

Honestly, I chose to convince her to stay off the chems.

I did this myself and as soon as I saw the dialogue option
"Reset Code", I remembered what Mama Murphy foretold me through her vision..! I had felt guilty for giving her the Chems when she died because i knew it seemed after all a little too story-like what she would say. and I felt I fell for her sweet lies only for me to kill her by giving her more drugs to use because I believed her... But! when I heard my character say the long factory reset code mama Murphy had foresaw and repeated for me...I got chills throughout my entire body. For me it was an amazing moment. I instantly realized she was not being sweet to get a fix, that ended up me killing her. Did I say it sent chills throughout my entire body.....craziest awesome moment... of confusion, then realization, then amazement as my total view of her as an addicted woman trying to be sweet making fortune stories up for more Chems, when actually she really WAS guiding me!! It for me how it happened was just...it was an awesome shocking discovery... I know some of you guys didn't catch on though for multiple reasons but wow this was just such a cool moment for me !!

So if the courser had fought and succeeded he'd have been recalled? I don't know it's just Mama Murphy ad a vision of an Institute scientist recalling him?
Would that be because he wasn't smart enough to find the password for the terminal? Or to simply teleport into the room with her?

I actually didn't know you could do this. I just popped a bunch of chems and shot him with a shotgun 'til he died.

I had no idea I got this reset code from mama murphy because I just skipped all the dialogue from her. I prepared so much for the courser fight thinking he was gonna be a huge mech robot boss. Not only was he just a small ass normal synth guy, but he died instantly

I figured there was a way to void the fight using a reset code but i had no idea mama Murphy would be the way there.
