We all have different definitions of success. NO ONE knows us better than our CREATOR!
SUCCESS is making wuduh (ablution) and performing salaah (5daily prayers) with khushuu (due attention) on time, every time!
Look after your Salaah, let HIM look after your worldly affairs and your hereafter!
That is TRUE SUCCESS.
Humor me and try it- even if you are a Non Muslim.

If you think being a millionaire equates to being successful - there is a long list of wealthy people who are so miserable they even committed suicide!

You can only feed your body by consuming wealth, not your soul!
When the soul is neglected there can be no peace, the person then turns to various indulgences for escape from the soul's yearning and suffering.

You are successful if you are at peace with yourself. If you can accept who you are and know that you have value regardless of what anyone else thinks. Doing simple ordinary things in life can benefit others and yourself. If you achieve a tranquil mind, you will be extraordinary in our present society. If you can find gratitude for what you have and embrace a simple life, then you are rich. If you can face your mortality courageously without fear, then you have great success.

Success to me is being unchained. So many of us are like horses chained to a pin in the ground going round and round. Typically this is just so we can pay the monthly bills. Imagine if we all lived in little self built habitats (no mortgage or rent). How much more creativity would we see from our population?

Success is relative to each individual. The mistake most people make is allowing their ego to be their judge.

But at the end , you live in a society that to fulfill your needs you should follow society's value , no matter how stupid they are . You can't live in your own planet. Isn't it ?

Success might be a state of mind , peace of mind it doesn't necessarily be giving other people or showing people your life in social media

Channels like this are as important to society or more than the largest corporations and the jeff bezos and elons and Zuckerbergs.
If you dont have sanity or peace of mind, then what does anything else matter?

The materialistic definition of success is the worst thing you can ever apply to your life.

The idea a part of our society has about success is flawed. Think about it:

One person is a worldwide figure in entertainment. He won many awards, honours, certifications, broke several world records and earned millions always in a spectacular and unpredictable way. Cut throat business person. The masses love it, but society will, always demand more fresh success from this person year after year, otherwise he could be called a „has been“, „oldie“ or „failure“. And always a need to please people in different countires, lots of travel and jet lag. Always a need to be seen as cool or in style. So this person may tries to please a standard and burns out, drugs, alcohol, suicide thoughts. That‘s bad.

Now think about a local small village entertainer. There is not much pressure because he is barely known. He never wins those big awards, trophies, honors or earns millions. But certainly nobody cares and neither he does. No need for a 10 bedroom mansion, private jet, Grammy invitations, luxury trips or celebrity connections. If this person is happy with what he does in his life and stays healthy while never going broke. This person won!

Success is satisfaction

i used to want to be someone great. i just imagined changing the world in a big way were everyone is happy. Now i just want to be happy. I would consider anyone successful if they were happy in any situation they were in. like a bum living in his car. if he is happier than working a 9-5 job and can breathe more air into his or her lungs than the guy who is CEO then id envy him.

I've been thinking about this and I've come to the conclusion that money does not mean success but it also do, success can take many forms, for some having lots of money is success, for some, having a family and living happily is success, for some, helping others and contributing to the society and work for the greater cause for humanity is success, for some, being able to keep learning is success.

I agree that success should be distinct. Only us can decide whether our life is a successful one or not, by our standard. We don't have to care other's standard.
