ZERO DARK THIRTY | The Compound

One flaw of the Zero Dark Thirty compound was that the staircase was divided by a wall. To my understanding, the one and only staircase in the compound was an open, squared staircase that Osama's son was dropping grenades down from the top floor.

I never understood why she used the initials “UBL” for Bin Laden.

I love watching Zero Dark Thirty. I've watched it probably 10 times. This behind the scenes look makes it that much more appealing. Wish I could have been part of the production crew.

I was told that the seal teams they all died by a helicopter accident couple of years after they killed Osama bin laden is that correct?

It’s just so disappointing that OBL was able to live out his final years in such incredible luxury.

Kathryn Bigelow is one of those directors that makes really good movies. Zero Dark Thirty is one of my favorites as the story isn't just about the raid but the backstory including the Company and Seal Team involvement. Great movie and story.

In pakistan, the army is an institute running on its own without reporting to the government. They do their own thing. So it's entirely plausible that the government in fact did not know about this, while the army did and housed him.
