rich kid larps in alaska
ОтветитьSay your own words, build like you know what your doing and live like you want. Your rewards and confidence will be soaring.
It's life and you can't do it without a couple mistakes. Your life and will be so great when your build is done. Mom n Dad will be so proud of you. They are very awesome instructors n leaders.
Its smart to have your door open outwards in Alaska. makes it more difficult for wildlife (aka bears) to break in thru the door. its very common in Alaska to have doors open out. also a good Idea to have windows in your doors so you can see if theres any wildlife outside before you wonder right on out there.
ОтветитьI am late to your build series but never too late to say good job. A suggestion so you don't lose a finger going forward with any type of hands on work would be to not wear metal rings on your fingers. My grandfathers friend loss a finger when his wedding ring was crushed into his finger. I want to see you and your friends do more builds and having all 10 fingers will help.
Ответитьhow did you get enough money to do this at 18? ur an inspiration im going to do this soon
Ответитьyour door opening inward is stronger because the lip that catches the door is reinforcing it
ОтветитьThought that bunker looked familiar. Been watching alot of Bushradical. Nice to see more content out of you guys. Keep up the great work, greetings from Sweden.
ОтветитьWhat you have learned along the way is much more valuable than the $500
ОтветитьDoes the timber not rot over time?
ОтветитьGood Show! ... Bruce
Ответитьam i the only one wondering why the wood is not green treat?
ОтветитьEnjoying this adventure Mick. Thanks for the ride.😊
ОтветитьAwesome project, Just my opinion, but the mistakes we make don't matter; what matters is getting out there and getting the job done. Congratulations on your build!
ОтветитьI first discovered your Mom's channel, then your Dad's now you.
You remind me of myself a couple months after high school.
I was in a suburb of Spokane and my thumb took me yo West Yellowstone, Montana it was 1975.
I wanted to be a hippie and instead I spent the winter in West in my little green cabin with a 55 gallon woodstove as my only source of heat. It got down to 64degrees below zero and 12 feet after packed snow.
Instead of hippies I found myself in a community of Christians called The Carpenters Workshop. I thought you might find my story interesting.
Be blessed young man of God
Started watching your channel because your mother asked us to look at your new channel. I am old enough to be your great grandmother, only mentioning that fact to make you aware of the diversity of your audience. I subscribed to your channel because of the journey you have chosen. You present yourself wonderfully in words, presentation, and a fabulous sense of humor! Looking forward to watching your journey.
Ответить👌👌
ОтветитьI wish people wouldn't be so quick to criticize others. I'm proud of you. You know what you want and your working toward it. You learn from mistakes. Your thoughts on the bet with your mom is very mature. Loved this video.
Ответитьthe ROOF was put on wrong and will shed rain BUT the snow will not slide OFF. NO vapor barrier. the steel will sweat and get insulation wet. Really like the effort and the BUDS friendship.
Ответитьmost of the people who are correcting you are all KeyBoard Warriors none of them know anything unless they have seen it on You Tube. I wouldnt give a single waste of air on any of them. You are doing just fine.
ОтветитьJust started watching your videos you remind me of Kyle I watches his videos two hard-working young guys❤
ОтветитьI stumbled upon your channel by chance and I am now totally captivated. In this video I really was struck by your brutal honesty of why you didn't win the bet. Seems you will be learning more than just how to build a cabin on this great adventure you are undertaking. All the best to you my friend!!
ОтветитьYou’re doing great! ❤
ОтветитьFun watching your progress. Good luck!
ОтветитьGreat job❤
ОтветитьPros and Cons of having a door open out. Pro, bear has a harder time pushing the door in. Con, pushing the door open into a six foot snow drift. Pro, watching drunk friend trying to open the door. Con, drunk friend pukes in your cabin. Cheers 🇨🇦
ОтветитьI agree 100% on the learning by doing! Keep the positive attitude about everything and don’t beat yourself up ❤️
ОтветитьAbove the window, you could have just put in a header, which should be there for load. Actually you buddy did it correctly, but did not finish it by including the header board above the window.
ОтветитьFor a guy who reckons he was flippant - NOT A BAD JOB AT ALL young Mick, you do known that once you get past the live in abode there is always going to be jobs to do around your home for the next 50 years plus - so there really is no need to rush rush to much. Enjoy what you have and live that dream Cheers
ОтветитьI have been followin you for about an hour. I'm bout to medically retire from the Army and am looking at building a small home/cabin for myself. I'm curious as to how much land you purchased total, I may have forgotten or overlooked it. Curious as to where you're at and if we could get together at some point for me to pick your brain on the winter months that are up coming up on us in your experience in the house. I've been stationed here since March 2021 and am looking to network outside of the military as well. If you're open to this, please respond to the message and we can exchange contact information.
I've helped build full houses, up to two stories with a basement as a teenager. It's been a long time since, but I want be a perfectionist. I believe in improving off of where you finish until you're satisified. Thanks for taking the time to read this, if ya do, and either way God Bless man.
would love a video about every mistake and what you learned. It may help other beginners to not make the same mistakes!! Awesome vid
ОтветитьYou should build a “banya” a Russian bathhouse.
ОтветитьYou're just starting on your own - live and learn. I'm coming over from your Mom and Dad's channels 🙂. Enjoy the journey.
ОтветитьGood video funny parts too lol

ОтветитьYou should be proud of yourself...it looks amazing❤
ОтветитьI’m like you. I like to dive into it and just learn from mistakes. Awesome job! Don’t worry about it. Just keep doing work little by little.
ОтветитьYour videos are surprisingly engaging. Just subscribed.
ОтветитьMy Daddy was the King of Jerry riding, I took after him. Which means I can build stuff just like he did.
ОтветитьNice job 👍🏼
ОтветитьHaHa!'
~ it's "jury-rigging". a popular sport amongst political types. I should know, I was an attorney & maintain a bar license in the state your folks call home.
Love your attitude Nick. Keep on learning and growing. Experience worketh hope😊
ОтветитьI'm glad you learned something by losing the bet. It mean's you are becoming an adult and your actions have reactions. Good for you.
