Im 42 now.......but I've heard of the military's abilities to give their soldiers just top notch food. Ive studied extensively all the wars from my college years of the civil war....then my personal studies of ww1, ww2, the korean war, vietnam, the gulf wars......when the military decided to provide the best food money can buy for ist soldiers just recently.....it was a very wise choice. Giving a soldier a solid meal like that.......They will do their duty and wont cry about it. Giving a soldier quality food really makes the soul work. 50 years ago soldiers lived off of prepackaged garbage. I respect what they had to go through but I'm glad it has gotten so better.

Now this is COOKING, I just watched the navy open bags and heat and their favourite chicken fillet is straight😂😂😂.

Disgusting to see that people who trained and get payment for killing other people eat for free while children are starving

One thing I notice is they don't do taste test on any of the foods. Maybe it's part of the SOP or the cooks are so experienced, they just never fail in making tasty meals.

I would love to eat in an Army mess hall to compare to what I ate in the 60s. It wasn’t that bad but not as good as Moms cooking. The one dish I couldn’t eat was Ham and Lima beans. But loved SOS. Shit on a Shingle.

Imagine if they invested just as much money, dedication and effort into providing such good meals at schools. Not detracting from how they feed their soldiers. Just saying, imagine the difference that could be made {in your country and mind} if we threw all of that love into school nutrition.

$14.2million a year is an average of $28.90 per meal at 3 meals a day for 4500 people… Even including labour costs, that seems excessive? Maybe includes rental of the facility, but assuming it is government. I don’t know, but just seems like a lot per meal 😂
