The first time you see Mr. X in Resident Evil 2 Remake
ОтветитьMetroid Prime was the 1st Metroid I played properly, but didn’t really understand the concept.
ОтветитьBest jumpscare of all time has to be from Chilla's Art - The Closing Shift, involving the fastest woman alive and her pram...
ОтветитьWatching this as I play Mario sunshine just felt ✨right✨
ОтветитьI think my biggest jump scare in a game has to be the first time I encountered a witch in left 4 dead.
ОтветитьThe monster baby from Resident evil Village has to be the scariest jump scare you don’t see it coming until it starts crying and coming towards you
ОтветитьMan, I remember when they had the rumor of the Eternal Darknees remake being in devolopment, and then it died.... we still need one!
ОтветитьThe crocodile in the sewer in Resident Evil 2. I even had friends over watching me play it and I still screamed so loud when it but me in half, because I didn't see it coming, that my neighbor in the apartment next door knocked on my door to make sure I was OK. Good times. Lol
ОтветитьMario Kart Double Dash is mine and my Sisters favorite Mario Kart. We played it for hours and hours together and I really hope we will see the return of the Double Dash Mechanic in a future game (and the Return of Parakoopa as a driver)
I never finished Sunshine but mainly played around in the Overworld because I thought that was more fun lmao xD
The scariest jumpscare for me has to go to the bathroom ghost from the game "white day" because it hits you twice.
First it's create an scary atmosphere where you only see her in the mirror and hearing her scissors getting faster. Then she rushed at you just to dissappear last second. You feel shocked but a bit save that it's over. Untill you go out of the room and receive a second jumpscare where she attacks you for real.
Lets be honest with ourselves. ANYONE who has played the first Resident Evil will never forget the dogs jumping through the windows and scaring the bajeezus out of us. It's still iconic today.
ОтветитьI think one of the best things about the GameCube was the peripheral that let you play GameBoy games on your TV.
ОтветитьFrom recent years the biggest jump scare for several reasons has to be in re7 specifically in VR when margarit comes around the corner as you approach that door...bloody hell
ОтветитьNo Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance?
But for scary jump scares the Yeta one in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess scared me on first seeing it
I really love Metroid, and wanted to play prime... Unfortunately it is the only game that has ever triggered a seizure for me.
ОтветитьHonorable Mention: Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
because yeah...best of the best~
While I think I'd have put Eternal Darkness higher I can't knock your choices.
ОтветитьResident Evil 2 the first licker you see that runs by outside the window ohh I still get chills and I wasn't even the one playing
ОтветитьBit of a deep cut this one but there was a computer game played in schools & showed to friends as a prank I believe the game was the hardest game ever & the jumps are would show the girl from the exorcist pop up on screen and scream at the player
ОтветитьAnother I would choose for best jumpscare is Resident Evil 2 in the corridors of the precinct you are running around the corners & zombies will smash through the windows gets me every time
ОтветитьDoesn't look like anyone said it yet but this is the reason it took me five years to complete it. The zombie dog corridor in the OG Resident Evil (yeah I know I was a whimp). I swear up until Jack Bakers first "Welcome to the Family Son!", that was my most memorable jump scare of the whole series. Circled the whole mansion parts that didn't require going down there which wasn't much as it turned out lol.
And while I'm at it the Resident Evil 7 ...hour demo. No monsters, creepy atmosphere, think yourself... And "Welcome to the Family Son."
No Gotcha Force tho 🥺.
ОтветитьThe biggest jump scare is when Jules finally makes a video on Flash games
ОтветитьMy comment! ❤❤❤❤❤
Jump scare? The tonberries from Final fantasy 15. You think that they are slow as past ones until it attack you like they are reincarnated of baby Yoda.
The fact that Pokemon: Colosseum or XD weren't mentioned is a crime.
ОтветитьLove the gamecube!
ОтветитьNo Resident Evil 4 feels wrong
ОтветитьPaper Mario and the Thousand Year Door needs to be on here and have you ever heard of a very rare game named Gotcha Force? Easily two of the best Gamecube games each beating the 10th entry on this list
ОтветитьWhere’s Luigi’s Mansion, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Battalion Wars, Pikmin 2, F-Zero GX, Paper Mario Thousand Year door, Rogue Squadron, and Viewtiful Joe?
ОтветитьWHAT? No timesplitters future perfect? BRUH!!!
ОтветитьQuite surprising to not see RE4 on this GameCube list considering just how much it helped te RE franchise.
Anyway, jump scare? Easily Super Mario 64's piano at Big Boo's Haunt. SM64 is a fun, light-hearted game. And yes, a haunted mansion is supposed to be scary, but to just go happily walking through a room and have a piano try to chomp you is something you do not expect in a Mario game. Not even Luigi's Mansion has scared me like that.
Scarecrow from Arkham Asylum - this series has so many like joker and man bat but nothing is as good as the psychedelic sequence the leads to scarecrow jumping out of a body bag to fear gas you, truly iconic
ОтветитьSo jump scare that I think is not remembered well enough is from the F.E.A.R. game. Has to do with climbing up and down the same ladder.. And getting a surprise towards the top. Note this is mainly a very action/shooter game but it does have some top notch scares at times too.
ОтветитьOne of my personal favorites from GCN outside of all the ones here is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. :) played that game through SO many times. Was the first Fire Emblem game to hit a console and arguably popularized it in the West.
ОтветитьWhat about Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness?
ОтветитьScariest jumpscare ever? The joker scene at the beginning of Arkham Knight.
ОтветитьNot a bad list, but the Gamecube game that I keep replaying is Paper Mario Thousand Year Door. It is a masterpiece.
ОтветитьNintendo sells halfware software that is half the industry standard... Nintendo sells to dumb gamers to make profit from inadequate hardware and games.
ОтветитьThe scariest jump scare ever is that sudden cut to a kill cam because your companion killed a random bark scorpion in Fallout: New Vegas
ОтветитьMario Sunshine is just not a good game. If it didn’t have Mario in its title, it would be an obscure flop.
Ответитьyeah WW isn't better than TP. It's still a good game but it has a lot of issues. #1 is the correct choice though.
ОтветитьNo mention of Pikmin? Yes its short, but it's a lot of fun and a brilliant strategy game
ОтветитьTwin snakes > Metal Gear solid.
ОтветитьThe easter egg on black ops zombies alcatraz where you aimed in with a sniper scope on the roof and had a zombie flash up right in your face as a jumpscare still lives with me to this day after getting pranked with it by my friends
ОтветитьI put a whole lot of time into Soul Calibur 2 on GameCube. I have so many fond memories of playing it deep into the night with my friend in high school over summer vacations.
ОтветитьThis top 10 shows how bad the GC was.
Very meh.
Melee, was the reason I got a GameCube.
ОтветитьGreat video, so many great memories playing these games back in the day!
ОтветитьI must say nice pick for #1 I did enjoy detailed explanation of your choice and it showed your passion for it by the way it flowed
