Fish is one of the easiest thing to cook
ОтветитьI liked when he said grilling is not about the pretty grill marks but to impart flavor, and he's absolutely right about that, thank you!
ОтветитьI hate cooking, but I love watching other people cook. And I love fish.
ОтветитьNice. TBH, for me, it is easier to grill a steak than to grill a fish. Thank you for the tips!
Ответитьall good, but cooking the fish until its barely done? that is where I start to lose the will (the french say... when you hear that line).. it gets a bit anal thereafter.. the fish takes on the look of a gelatinous substance....might work on Instagram but not in the mouth... reminds me of all that A1/5 Wagu bullshit, been there done that.... your eating fat, not steak, but it must be good as I am paying 1000 pounds for 300grams, people with money are suckers for a gimmick or foreign tradition...
"grilling is not about..."... stop right there....
grilling is obviously about imparting flavour, but expecting a 5-10 minute cook or less on a 1/4 inch cut of fish to impart heavenly flavours lol, thats simply taking the piss..your not smoking the fish.. maybe its the ton of butter and seasoning that are added to the fish no ? lol
Grilling with heat and charring crispy skin, thats grilled fish, not imparting, simple grilling.....there is no time to impart jack shit....
just keep it real....
I don't want this guy cooking any of my food. Too much facial hair. I don't like hair in my food.
ОтветитьHow long for?
Ответитьidk what it is about this chef but he's cool
ОтветитьWas that an appetizer?
Ответить$45 for that little piece....
Ответитьwe ignore the fact that the skin is burned?
ОтветитьAwesome!
ОтветитьNot just for fish, cooking anything by coals needs attention as the heat is uneven and fluctuating
ОтветитьLooks a bit burnt... but otherwise all good...
Ответитьin the UK you would have to wear a beard net
ОтветитьNice of the chef to give us real, useful techniques instead of common fluff.
ОтветитьBurnt it
ОтветитьCant stand this guy
ОтветитьHe didn’t take the scales off…..
Ответитьlooks great but that small plate at the end would be popped in my mouth like a tic tac. I need the whole piece lmao.
ОтветитьI went into that man’s van and he put that cake tester in my cake.
ОтветитьIsn't that burnt?
ОтветитьTo get scales in their mouth you do not drill fish with scales on.. imagine in a nice restaurant having to pick scales out of your mouth and put them on the side of your plate what a fool
ОтветитьAl Dente 🎉
ОтветитьThat looks burned to me…
Ответить"the truth is, it's really ea— … it's not that hard" :D
Ответитьhorseshit man.
ОтветитьSkin burnt AF. Don’t need to impart charcoal flavor when it’s covered in charcoal
ОтветитьLovely burnt skin 😔
ОтветитьThe big burly beard looks kinda sketchy in the kitchen js.
ОтветитьSo... You put some grease (mayo you say) on the skin, but not on the fleshy side that sticks the most?
ОтветитьDoes anyone actually care what the french say 🤔
ОтветитьGrilling is about flavor and appearance so yes, give me my grill marks too. Thx
ОтветитьSkin looks burned to me... I use a bbq and put the fish on specific wood to add flavor...
ОтветитьWithout a thermometer, (125 degrees), I tend to overcook—just til the albumin begins to leak out—overdone.
I have never had unscaled fish before.
Black gill cod. I bought a friend some black Cod from Alaska, my best ideas bought for others. I was told it is not Cod at all.
Cooking with attention and care is good with anything you cook.
ОтветитьI’d love to see this video without the edits, because god damn he fucks with that perfect fish a lot once it hits the grill. A true grill master knows all you are supposed to do is a single turn once that fish hits the grill and never touch it otherwise.
Ответитьthank you chef. Yeh i have been failing cooking fish. I will try what I have learned here.
ОтветитьMichelen star restaurant cook does a lot of jugaad.
ОтветитьHope you like cooks beard hair singed on your fillet.
ОтветитьHe has a huge beard and doesn't wear protection... Sorry this guy is disgusting 😊
ОтветитьStreet venders in vietnam/ asia do this and better in half the time and for cheaper😃
ОтветитьIts burnt dude..
ОтветитьMayonnaise and beard hairs
ОтветитьI dunno who this guy is, but daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn
Ответить📝 with thanks Chef.
ОтветитьAny three year old can do that. Have to love all the uncovered hair. Real class act sign of a true ‘Michelin Chef’. Guess it went to hipster shit like everything else..
ОтветитьAs someone from New England this was basic to say the least and I guess my toddler can cook fish at a Michelin star level 😅🤦♂️
ОтветитьAre those ChefsPress brand cooking weights? Looks exactly like the ones I use (and you can stack the same way) on my steaks 😂
ОтветитьThe skin is burned, maybe this guy should learn more about fish cookery as he likes to put it
Ответить
