I think a thicker E low-string would help on your chart. Good job!

i learned the a minor natural shapes first, but always found it awkward soloing. this might help me understand the intervals better, then i can add in the extra notes from the minor scale in when im comfortable with the pentatonic shapes. I always skipped over pentatonic stuff coz I thought it was too easy but just another thing where I jumped the gun lol

The diagram and your notes played do not seem to correspond -at least its not clear. Those diagrams are not intuitive -which is the low string which is the high????

Remember when you play to shred with your full heart and soul because there truly are no wrong notes... there's so many technical guitar players the sewer pipes are clogged with them...

I want a teli but its too expensive. if its gonna be a Strat or teli its got to be a Mexican fender. I like Epiphone but I don't like squire. Soo much money for a decent fender guitar. Other companies are selling cheaper alternatives so I don't see myself getting the teli any time soon. A guy can dream though.

I dont know which one of your fingers is touching what string. Maybe finger numbers on the diagram and a fret number. I just bought a telecaster last week and am learning.

Subscribed!!! I have been playing tabs for many years, and never learned scales (Though I know I am playing scales as I play the songs I know). I have been playing the same songs over and over for many years, this opened up a new door - thank you! I took screen shots of the scale layouts, and will practice diligently!

Will every position sound good in the same key you're playing the positions on? Say if you have an Em backing track then you play all those positions up and down, will those E pentatonic positions sound good?
