I am trying to go DIY with cleaners for my children, and would love to implement these. Do you have recommendations for those outside of the US who do not have access to cleaning baking soda? Baking soda in our country comes in small packages for baking and would be very expensive if needing more than a tsp! Similar requests for cream of tartar and hydrogen peroxide :)

I made an all purpose cleaner with water, dish soap, and rubbing alchohal and it works really well. I like making my own cleaning products because I can decide what they smell like by putting essential oils in them that I like. I especially like eucalyptus oil

Are the essential oils in the DYI products functional or just there for the nice smell. In other words, are they necessary?

I only havnt tried your diy toilet cleaner yet.. but I've started squirting dish liquid in and scrubbing that around every other day (5 bums, 1 toilet) and only use the bleachy funny shaped store brought once every 2 weeks.

Baking soda clogged my bathroom sink.

I've been looking for a natural fly spray that works. I've tried the bottle traps and fly paper and they suck, is there anything i can use other than toxic fly sprays? P.S. I'm in Australia and it's a part of life in Queensland because it's always so hot here most of the year.

Baking soda and heated vinegar works great for drains as well.

Can you use the day degreaser on wood cabinets? We just moved in and my cabinets are a bit grimey but I don't want the paint or finish to come off. Or am I better off just using a paste with baking soda or just water and soap.

You should get truly educated and start teaching people about the downside of all the products that are sold in all the typical grocery stores in America including target and Walmart.... where most people go....

Why use toxic dish detergent though? Why not use an organic Castile soap instead? When we use the toxic stuff, we are still supporting the chemical companies and all those poisons go right back into the environment, even through a toilet.
