Hi! First time mom for a month old baby. I’m struggling to get my baby to burp especially if he feels asleep after feeding. Is it ok if the baby can’t burp but was able to pass on gas? There are times that my baby struggles to burp although been trying the method mentioned on this video but he was able to pass on gas instead. Pls help me out.

I understand why this happens, however since becoming a dad to a beautiful baby boy(1 month to the date). I've noticed that almost all, I'd say a solid 95%, of articles and videos that I've seen strictly refer to mom as the parent and then the baby as "she" or "her". The mom part makes sense to me I mean, moms are amazing and i already thought that but now that I've seen my wife in action throughout all this, it's just pure admiration. The part where most things automatically refer to the baby as a she though is pretty odd to me. I always thought people just said "baby" in general but most things default to a baby girl. I just think there's more and more dads who are actually heavily involved and hands on at home nowadays and we should include them as well, which obviously I'm biased but still, even at doctor's appts which I've been to all of them so far, the doctor/nurses exclusively talk to my wife and ignore me essentially. I didn't notice that this video she said papa's as well so thank you! Lol and anyone who miraculously read all of this, sorry for the little rant, I'm sleep deprived after staying up all night with my baby so mama could sleep and I'm rambling to nobody.

Hi Bridget, in your videos you constantly refer to the “mamas” … what about the “papas” ?
Sad and disappointed that our hard work in not being recognised within our society !!

What I find difficult about burping my baby (he’s only 5 days old!), is he falls asleep shortly into feeding and then stays very sleepy even when I’m trying to burp him! Can anyone offer any tips??

That hand gestures in this video are extremely distracting.

Great content but moving your hands all the time are distracting.

So baby feeds for 45 mins then has to sit up for 30 mins .. and has to feed every 2 hours from start of feed...... Hm when do they sleep

New Mom , my Son was born 28th March this year and they are turning three months this month I am here to educate myself so I can train my nanny 😍

I am doing combo feeding bc of jaundice and I noticed my newborn is getting crazy hiccups after bottle feeding only. Which when he is trying to sleep after eating keeps waking him up.

The over the shoulder really helped me with my baby , it was a struggle burping my baby , it'll take hours and then she'll throw up alot 😭 thancuu 💘.
