I love both, I have place for both in my heart. Without IA I wouldn't be able to do what I love too, it would be expensive and I would depend on other people. I can do everything I love with IA and I love to do arts too, so... <3
ОтветитьMy daughter is an artist and she says this is completely BS but there's nothing she can do about it because that cat is out of the bag.
ОтветитьANSWER: If a copy of the ORIGINAL was used, then copywrite laws come into play. If you look at something and draw, then no copywrite was broken as long as the recreated work is dissimilar enough and not being sold as the original. AI uses copies of the original to make a work, so, as long as the original artist is paid for use of a copy, then everything is fair. Scanning is creating a copy. Reproducing an original work on a web page is only legal if they have a copywrite. Making a copy of that image, even if ones and zeros, is still a copy.
Ответитьit will open the playing field actually
ОтветитьJust trace AI back lol
ОтветитьThis is probably one of the technological advancement that makes more harm than actually helps
ОтветитьA brave new world it's just a bad idea and all aspects of society from art to law the leaders of those world's should committee and decide
ОтветитьThat's a fine topic for a mock debate or mock trial.
ОтветитьAi will wipe the floor with artist, musician and writers ego's. It will be beautiful to watch
ОтветитьWell artist take from a pool of different artists and blends them for their own style
ОтветитьIn my opinion, people keep misrepresenting the “stealing from artists” side.
Art isn’t sampling from other artists. Art is bringing your emotions and experiences to life, in this case via drawing/painting/other similar forms.
Think about it like this, if you were a caveman who was making the first ever cave painting, you aren’t basing it off of other people’s art. You’re basing it off your experiences.
The thing about AI, it’s only experiences are other peoples art. It’s not authentic to an artist’s experience.
I think AI art should only be used for personal use, so it can't affect other artists
ОтветитьI wouldn’t actually call it art. There is no intention to make art here, it’s simply replication or generation. And idk why someone would want to make art itself an automated process. Scientists should stop their research at some point and think of the consequences of their actions
Ответитьoh yeah it's absolutely stealing. it gets trained on artists' works without their consent or compensation, takes the "skill" and style artists spent years honing, and makes something thats probably way worse but people still pay for it. if we can agree that tracing someone's art is stealing, how is this any different if not worse?
Ответитьai art makes those artist of a doodlers dont feel special anymore they think thier doodles have soul and mysterya and somethig to it its not they are just doodles you are just a doodler if you love art why donyou earn money for creating it you dont for your its a lazy way to warn money by doodling and overpriced products
ОтветитьAs a graphic designer with a degree that has never managed to get a job in my field because of how cut throat it is, AI will literally ruin my career.
I can't keep up with the already over inflated design and art market. Ai (not the fun adobe program) will just straight up kick me out of my own field of expertise forever.
Art and music is what makes us humans . Being able to communicate your feelings through them is only human
ОтветитьYou are more beautiful than Natalie Portman.
ОтветитьControversy Squared
ОтветитьIts a tool that makes art avaliable to all. Not everyone is a designer, or a painter, or even a graphic designer. But everyone is filled with ideas and fantasies. This os a way to create art, even though you might lack the skills.
Ответитьsigh ... people still don't understand AI. AI cannot "create" art. It can only copy paste existing art and mush it together. It cannot create something new. The only jobs it is threatening are of people who do the same thing. In which case, sure.
Ответитьnothing is as special as a human being creating art by hand.
ОтветитьAs for me, i prefer to ask the ai to give me a sketch version of an art i want than giving to artist to finish it so its more inlined to what i want than hoping my essay of words can convey the art i want to the artist
ОтветитьCleo ji❤
ОтветитьI actually lost my job as a designer the other day because of AI but I'd love to hear more AI stuff
ОтветитьPiracy is piracy, be it done by a human or AI. We need laws to control the use and interference of AI to safeguard human capabilities and skills.
ОтветитьWho cares modern human lifestyle is mass produced garbage anyway
At least for AI we don't have to pretend that it has some bullshit meaning and "soul" in it
“AI will not replace surgeons, but surgeons who use AI will replace surgeons who don’t use AI.”
I had a huge talk about the future of AI with a few silicon valley techies the other day and this quote stuck out to me. Not sure how I feel about it, but it definitely seems like the way the future is going.
AI is just a tool for making these artworks, no different than a paintbrush or the paint or canvas or a violin or your own voice.
ОтветитьShe hasn't even discussed about the ai nude deepfakes that are created in these ai porgrammes everyday.
ОтветитьI think eventually we are going to have to put restrictions on our “thinking machines” (if you get the reference then you are a chad).
I mean ai is really cool, and it can do amazing things, but is it part of the human story? Well that’s something we’re going have to decide. Do we want our legacies being automated, our thoughts autogenerated, or our jobs being taken? Is the reward worth the entire transformation we will have to take our society through to get to it?
Personally I don’t think we should let ai grow exponentially, it should be limited in its ability, and it should be there to help not to completely take over for our thinking.
I believe if we let ai take over our thinking then we won’t correct the issues in our societies, instead we’ll embrace them.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
It'll create much more jobs.
ОтветитьI think in our late stage capitalism world we need to be vigilant about AI in jobs especially since our value is only determined by our labour
ОтветитьI'm not sure you really said much that common sense doesn't already tell us?
ОтветитьI need some art, I have had 6 "artists" first agree then back out of my project. Soon I will get AI to do the art and the artists will starve for real.
ОтветитьSeriously, this was way too superficial to make it sound smart in front of my friends.
ОтветитьMy problem with AI art is that it can't produce intricate details that is tailored to the customers preferences. If the art required three parts then there's a higher chance to replicate it but if the art have one hundred intricate parts there's no way the AI can replicate it. AI to me is limited to what it can do and human assistance will be needed for intricate designs. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
ОтветитьPersonally , I think if we ARE on the topic to discuss it's pros and cons I might have something to say , as a budding artist myself who has been practicing for a few years I think that each and every category that comes under the arts just as fine arts and music should be left to humans, arts are a medium through which a person can understand someone's personality just by seeing how they draw or sing , and well creativity always comes appreciated , so the question is why give up something you enjoy doing to machines
Ответитьi think its not the same when a human draws inspo from another artist because we put our own life experience into the art without even realizing it
ai doesn't have any life experience at all to draw from, taking the uniqueness away from the "art" it's creating
It's stealing because AI can't create anything. It can only copy. Or we would just call it Intelligence not Artificial Intelligence.
ОтветитьThe problem is that this mimicry is going to be 'good enough' for most people and certainly in companies that need quick 'art' that's good enough for their purpose. This is going to cost people's livelihoods.
I already said years ago that this century people will become obsolete.
I actually think its different from that, one point is its taking away the creativity from the work we call art. I love the idea of ai, but only in jobs where a machine would be more efficient to replace a human. However things like art, music and media should be kept as a human only department, the entertainment we gain should not feel as though it was created by AI, but by other humans
ОтветитьI think art requires an input of emotion to qualify as art. Otherwise it’s just a picture. But people don’t generally share my strict opinion on art. Pop music has been almost entirely made by computers for years, and most people couldn’t care less they’re listening to something that’s just vapid and empty. In the words of Bo Burnham, “Art is dead. So people think you’re funny, how do we get those peoples money?”
ОтветитьI don't really believe in art or clowns called artists. So am quiet happy 💀💁🏻♂️
ОтветитьAI art is like a creature that is non stop eating a certain art form and it mixes everything together in his stomach, and then the art it produces is excrement that flies in all directions.
ОтветитьI don’t care if AI creates it 😅
ОтветитьI dunno, are her videos actually for complete dumbies that know barely anything about any of the subjects she speaks about? Because most of these videos are just summarising really basic articles from my Google newsfeed 😐
ОтветитьHer face is perfect
ОтветитьIf artists wouldnt suck d and only care about profit we wont replace them.
ОтветитьIndeed. What's the point of us if everything is automated. What are we living for? Let's be honest, we'll not just relax all our life's, we would become crazy. We need passions. I see AI more as a tool than a replacement. I hope we'll take the right decision, the right path.
