Letting Go - Alan Watts

In my experience, Alan Watts is absolutely right on this matter.

Since a little kid I have always thought I’m these ways but always thought I was weird for being the only one who stood up for how I thought. Makes me know that this is not my first go around.

Outwardly being involved but inwardly being completely retracted

Never take advice from someone you wouldn’t follow. This man, with all of his fanciful and fruitless philosophies died a depressed alcoholic. If you truly understood the spiritual realm, you would understand how people can be used and oppressed by “spirits,” that are unholy. The Bible says you can tell a man by his fruit. Don’t listen to their smooth talk, but look at their actions.

I always return to Alan Watts!

Life is merely a dream, made up of temporary and superficial stuffs that surely must end along with when this body breaks down.
Living beings like human spend whole lives chasing things that are not meant to last and treat Ego as self, being proud to be sadly controlled by it.
No matter how influential, wealthy, healthy, beautiful, capable, famous one is, death is a package with birth and there is no escape, unless you find out what Nirvana is, shared by The BUDDHA after His enlightenment.

MUST BE LOVELY TO COME FROM SUCH PRIVILAGE YOU CAN SPEND YOUR LIFE JUST DREAMING OF WHATEVER YOUR LITTLE BRAIN CAN COME UP WITH OH JOY!

Please anyone respond if familiar. When I was a very young child I remember having the thought randomly for the first time as suddenly and as without warning or reason, that “I am awake”. It was shocking to me to be playing with toys on my bedroom floor, to suddenly have this realization that I am awake, I am also aware that I’m awake and aware that I’m aware…and here we are. I could tell that nobody else I knew, knew this. Is this normal?
