Mighty Ram Films
This was the production company of Dave Chappelle's son, Francois Chappelle, that was formed as early in 1990, and became fully active in 2002, only to get shut down in 2006. It reformed in 2009 after a short hiatus. The company is named after Francois' wrestler name "The Mighty Ram" whenever he went for wrestling.
1st Logo (1990-1991)
Nickname(s): Francois the Ram; The Wrestler Ram
Logo: On a grey box, we see a ram in a white shirt, sunglasses, and gold chain necklace in a boxing pose (Francois in a yellow circle). The ram rapidly throws some air punches before freezing. The words "MIGHTY R A M" and "PRODUCTIONS" is beneath the logo in the Times New Roman font.
FX/SFX: The punching animation, which along with the overall design, look very cheap.
Music/Sounds: Punching noises, followed by the sound of a bell.
Availability: Appeared on The Chappelle Show: Guys are Cows, which is available on Hulu, and Francois Chappelle Punches America Back, which can be found on Vudu.
Scare Factor: Minimal. The ram is kind of harmless, and the animation looks a bit cheap in its side.
2nd Logo (November 1, 2002)
Nickname(s): Francois the Ram II; The Wrestler Ram II; Epic Ram Productions
Logo: We pan to the top of a wrestling ring and see that the top of it has the Francois the ram from the previous logo, who is now wearing a belt and red shorts. And when he raises his arms when the audience cheers, the camera zooms out to reveal the under the ring are the words "MIGHTY RAM" in a black rectangular shape and "FILMS", both in a Copperplate font. Then, a flash of thunder appears, which makes Francois' human shadow flash onto the screen.
Variants:
There is a version where the logo is still. This is inside a white box on a black background.
On Krazy Feathers on the Outside, the background turns into glass, and the camera moves to the left as we transition to the movie.
FX/SFX: Stop motion from Aardman Animations.
Music/Sounds: The music from the Epic Productions logo, accompanied by people cheering, the bell sound, and the sound of thunder.
Availability: Can be seen of films from the company, such as Wrestling Kause 2, Wrestling Kause 3: Escape Kause, and Krazy Feathers on the Outside.
Scare Factor: Low. It's a pretty nice effort for its time, although some might be annoyed because it copies the Epic Productions logo.
these terms used to go over my head but now that im into wrestling i know exaclty what they mean lol
Ответитьhonestly, being despised in pro wrestling is great if you’re a heel. the worst thing would be getting apathy
ОтветитьI'm surprised that they have no f**** wrestlers as their guest stars
