Just started a few days ago. Compared to WoW or FF14, this game a nightmare. In WoW I tank and heal end game stuff with ease. This eso game is simple, but the gearing.. just.... omg.. this is nuts for a new player. Might just cancel my eso sub and call it quits.

How to craft set items?

I quit a year ago or so and just came back....
My biggest problem that's already showing itself on a new level 22ish character is that everything is either trivially easy or quite hard.
Solo questing I just go around destroying everything but then I go after an overland boss and he like two shots me.
I can build to be more tanky on the boss but that feels so pointless for the other 95% of the game.
I wish all non boss mobs were like twice as hard.. maybe double their hp and give them like a 15% damage boost.

I just hit lvl 50 for first time and this video was great for me for what comes next. Good job brother!

i have to be honest.
the early game was a slug.
takes forever to get to 50, or so it feels.
mid game the hype falls off quite a bit.
cp 38 atm, and i am losing quite a bit of interest already.
i hope that the end game is way more fun than this.
gearing takes forever.
even though i know you only need cp 180 om your gear to cap.
that allown is a pain in the ass tbh.
sinds i'll be relpacing gear left and right all the time.
not having a general trading zone makes it a pain as wel.
needing to join a merchant guild to make money is a pain.

the core gameplay is fun, don't get me wrong.
gearing is just a bit to boring in it's currant state.
making me realize the many flaws this game has on a design level.
i hope that once i have cp 180 gear, the game picks up again.
and i start enyoing it once more.

also, wich develpor though it was a wise idee to let players check if the role they pick, is a role they can acualy play.
so many dlc dungeon resets and penalty's, just because a dps dind't like the dps que.

Vet dungeons are extremely easy, i started doing them at CP10, they give all purples so as f2p its very worth

I just like to have fun in eso and do a little coin, not even going to pvp or pve because the competition is too fierce and would take too much hassle to even be okay, I just spend time in dolmens and do some guild trading and questing, that is how I like it, playing with friends and having fun.

As You said in very beginning - there is loads of guides for ESO but most of them sounds like creators taking for fact that newbies understand most of mechanics etc which they doesnt, luckly You did cover it all, well done mate and thanks for that vid, keep it up, leaving sub n like 👏

Quality video here. The issues you cover are problems that I had in the past and which made me quit this game numerous times. I often didn't have fun because I had crappy gear and no idea what to wear/equip. I didn't choose good skills, nor understand leveling them and other skill lines. I didn't know how to get into dungeons and trials.

If I had known this ahead of time, I would have had way more fun. But, now I'm starting over on console because my computer died. I got to CP80 within a week casually. I have my main skills and passives unlocked and I am destroying everything. Having fun too.

What Addon do you have on the bottom right with all your skills being shown with timers?

I’m CP1700+ I’ve got there by questing and dungeons and less then 5 trials. If I played the game properly instead of stuffing around like spending 2 hrs chest farming etc I’m sure I’d be close to Cp2000 by now.
I’m not real social and tend to make another character when I’m bored or see someone or class just smash through a dungeon.
I have no real purpose and goal in ESO. This was all said before I even watched this video. Hope it helps me be more focused.

I have AOEs on both bars. Is that bad?

Regarding CP, I think it's a bit misleading to say 'when you get another character to level 50 they will have the same CP' because a new level 1 character will have access to the CP points and tree already earned on any character although some stars may not be usable until your character reaches 50.

What about after 300? I’m level 330 and while I’m still having a blast with the game, what should I primarily be focusing on? I’m currently building sets (still for higher quality mothers sorrow items and shroud of the Lich as I’ve heard those are a good combo for magicka dps builds) but other than that, I’m questing. Is there anything else i should be doing?

I’ve also started to build my crafting, but I’m finding it hard to find necessary supplies.

Omg I feel so dumb I'm co 270 an just found out I had to add to the champion bar to get the buffs...

So, what happens to solo players that are doing the undaunted?🤔

You should make a guide on how to find non toxic guilds. The toxicity is why mmo’s have solo player trends.

I'm a little over cp 400 mostly from just questing and I have naturally done most of these things but I will be honest, I've been afraid to get into dungeons and trials. I've done some normal dungeons with friends which was really fun but I'm afraid to do them with randos and I've never done trials. I love doing quests and I'm still not done completely all the zones but I do want to start branching out more and it's scary to try and do that (at least for me because I'm a very introverted person)

Huh, I never thought of weapon swap like that. I’m a Templar mage/healer so I have my elementals and a few quick heavy heals on one bar, and then my class abilities on another so I’ll give it a try setting it up your way

hey. I have the mother sorrow set but I have very small healh bar (around 20k) and I die very fast in pvp arenas. Is that normal? Advice please :D

How do you slot them..? Like, drag and drop? Right click? Idk how to slot them, I've been trying to figure this out
