Finding the coral bottles to get the quests is the most annoying part ;-;

It be really cool if they branch off the cooking and allow us to make potions. No combat buffs like hp or armor but utility stuff like water breathing would be kinda cool. Or maybe just let us choose to drink the breath of the sea instead of selling it and we get a water breathing buff for a period of time

Shines are the easiest thing in the game. Especially the ancient tears one and once you know how to do it it becomes extremely easy to do

If im solo i like to get to level 5 with an emissary flag and bury ALL my loot, THEN i ll go dive in to the most northern mermaid shrine!

Why do people dislike fishing?

It's nice to see other people figuring out the mermaid shrines. I love puzzles and back when these first came out, I was on a mission to get them all done, but I stopped playing part way through because my one friend who plays with me got burnt out. Fast forward to the past month and I've gotten back into the game. I'm working on slowly figuring out each shrine. It helps that now we don't have to worry as much about people sinking our ship while we do it since less people want to do the shrines.

Lowkey, I actually enjoy the shrines more than the treasuries. I just feel like most of the pve is pretty easy in the treasuries but beating the puzzles in the shrines makes me feel like a genius.

I do love cliff's bemoaning of having to solve simple puzzles fit for children and how it reinforces my preconceptions of him.

How did you get shrines, I can never get those and I love puzzles

In case you didn't know you can sell fish and other meats to the hunter's call and if you perfectly cook it they pay better and I believe give more reputation

The art direction in this game is top S-tier. It's just a shame the gameplay is C-tier.

I like doing the puzzles more then the pve

I 'grinded' Hunter's Call when Thieve's Haven Runs was the most efficient way to level Athena, since you got either Athena loot or Mermaid Gems from the main island.. But you'd be pretty desperate to do that nowadays..

I started 4 days ago and found 2 bottles on the same island and didn’t know what to do with it I:

It’s so hard to find these Breath of the Sea quest.

You solved the whole shrine but don't need to solve pretty much any of it to get the breath.

This reminds me of getting the sunken Darrow curse, now that really sucked

I just started playing and I got that cursed chest and when I got back to sell it I nearly sunk because I didn't know it would flood my sloop and scared the shit out of me

I'll never understand how people encounter so many krakens, I hunted them for a full damn year and still don't even have the full kraken shipset to show for it.

ok, two things:
I didn't know gems could be sold at the Hunter's Call.
I didn't know breaths of the sea could be sold at the Hunter's Call.

Therefore, seems like I actually didn't need to sell hundreds of fish and basically kill half the ocean life to get to level 10.
