Thirty minutes well invested, competing story and one not to be lost on us all.... be careful of whose words you believe and trust.

A brilliant video Andy and thank you for telling the history of Tyneham - ver6 well presented well done. I remember the village well as during my 22 yrs army service I was stationed at Lulworth Gunery school for 2 years - 1967/68. During my time there we visited Tynham many times usually drove there in a tank and often swam in the sea nearby when there was no firing on. A lovely village so sad for the people that lived there before they were given their marching orders.

Thanks for this video. I first heard about Tyneham in an episode of "Abandoned Engineering". The show features sites from all over the world, so I was surprised to hear that it's near Lulworth Cove. I usually visit Lulworth Cove once or twice a year when I stay in Bournemouth, so I've now added Tyneham to my list of places to visit.

It's a shame that instead of spending money keep firing shells they could have spent some of it renovating the village ! Very interesting video

& now they want to take cows away and that's going to make many more farms close.

Very sad. They took away. Never gave it back. & Left it all to ruins. I hope they would feel ashamed if they were to watch this video. But the responsible are probably too old or passed away.

It would be nice if you went round the abandoned villages of Norfolk.
