Ah Tokyo Ghoul... sucked me in with the excellent first series, and then....well, it goes down in history as one of the most terribly mishandled subsequent seasons shows ever.

Okay here me out, I just finished "talentless Nana" and I've gotta say it's such dogshit. I seriously can't wrap my head arround how anyone could actually call this anime a good mystery show. It's a great Show when it comes to ignorance and stupidity but that's about it.

I seriously won't recommend anyone to watch this Anime.

Despite that being said, I think this is a great list/Video. I really enjoyed watching it. Was able to add another 2-3 Anime to my watchlist.

Made In Abyss was great, just watched it last night. Cannot wait for season 2 which comes out this month. If you watch it, make sure to watch season 1 and then the third film. The first 2 films are just recaps of the first season, which is, in my opinion, a huge waste. Could have put their time & money into just making more episodes instead of recaps. Could have a third season on the way if not for that.

Odd taxi, terror in resonance, monster, detective Conan, the promised neverland, steins gate, higurashi , perfect blue, baccano are some of my favourite mystery animes and these are damn underrated

i'm a bit sad Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace wasn't mentioned since it's a pretty good murder mystery anime that follows a mc that sticks out quite a lot considering the genre

So Baccano doesn't make it here??? Literally one of the BEST mystery series ever with such a fantastic pacing and direction. A highly recommend anime by many which deserves its praise.

Mo dai zu shi is phenomenal
