I don’t think Ike(the actor ) gets enough credit for how convincing he was with the he ain’t bluffing he’ll kill me ..loved this whole scene .

Anything that stars Kurt Russell is absolute Gold, but this movie is one of his best. A legend of hollywood, he's one of the real throwback actors. You won't see the likes of him again.

Could you imagine a city policeman going to stop a drunk and stoned dude with 2 pistols, and a Sheriff just standing there and doing nothing? To the point a guy who wasn't even a policeman went over and took care of business.

Kilmer's Doc Holliday is perfect. The portrayal of Doc Holliday by Victor Mature in 'My Darling Clementine' was poor. Mature was miscast.

Curly Bill was the inspiration for Dutch Van Der Linde in RDR2

Sad thing was that Curly Bill both here and real life did regret killing Fred. When a bad guy accidentally kills a lawman they respect, then they're not really a bad enough guy.

Fun fact: Marshall White lived long enough to testify that the shooting was an accident, setting Curly Bill free.

Here's how good an actor Steven Lang is.i had no idea until I looked him up that Ike Clanton was the same guy as the villain in Avatar. THAT is phenomenal acting.

The only kinda sad part is Bill seemed to pull the trigger genuinely by accident in a drunken stupor. Obviously “he was drunk” isn’t an excuse for murder, but for all the bad things the Cowboys do in the movie, it’s interesting to see how the guy seemed genuinely worried/sad that he killed the sheriff
