My motherboard doesn't have a vga port it only have dvi port but when i plug a dvi to vga converter it says no signal plz help

An explanation for those who actually wanted one - SPDIF is a standard for transmitting digital audio through a coaxial (RCA) or optical (toslink) cable. It's most commonly used in home theatre setups, and motherboards often have an SPDIF output on their external I/O. Some motherboards have an internal SPDIF input however, and to utilise this a bracket is required.
