Personally, I can't update anymore because MS stated that Kaby Lake CPU is not supported by Windows 7 but it is as long as you don't update after a certain point where ms actively removes the driver and gives you a generic cpu and graphics driver that gives you vga mode and all cpu optimization is gone. I use an hack to prevent it from updating again.

Focusrite says they don't support Windows 7 anymore so my question is has anyone here gotten the Scarlet to work with the latest version of Windows 7 that supports Intel (Kaby Lake) and AMD (Ryzen).

Is there a solution or do I have to look for another 24 bit sound card with good latency for electric guitar. Any sugestion for a similirar price as Scarlett 2i2. Little latency, 24-bit, ok dsp and Window 7 or Linux support is what i'm looking for.

Windows after 7 is not an option due to the license agrement against my personal privacy so I refrain from such suggestions.
