HOW TO Object Tracking | Davinci Resolve 18 Tutorial

looks good but what if I want to start tracking from the middle of the clip, so it should be invisible until I start tracking, and afterwards to move to the position .. ?

I'm wondering if it might seem silly, but I guess I'm starting to use Resolve. So when I click on "Effect" to use effects with the nodes in the COLOR area, the menu does not open? I would appreciate some help in respect, thanks.

Tks, i tried to link an effect node (proton V2) to a planer transform node but unfortunately it didn t worked, i had success only with object node linked to planer transform node, it s a pity.

Tracking failed with a fighting game, i tried for 2 hours

thanks for this awesome and quick tutorial, im new to DR, i have different situation, im using green screen on smart phone and then inserting a video by creating mask, the smartphone is not stationary its in hand and shaking a bit, im want that video inside also have sam shake, i tried everything you taught but in my case my video is below the tracked clip, please help with that

I'm sorry to say, but CapCut tracking is faster, better, smoother, and doesn't need a $1000 graphic card to do it. Why is it so? Why can't BDM have it good as CupCut, after all these years? Weird.

Hat eigentlich Alles funktioniert, nur dass mein Bild sobald ich "Planar Transform" zwischen "MediaIN2" und "Merge1" packe verzerrt das Bild extrem und passt sich eben der Bewegung des getrackten Objekts an. Das wollte ich eigentlich nicht, sondern nur das mein Bild dem sich bewegenden Objekt folgt. Kann mir jemand helfen?

how to make zoom in tracking object?

Hey buddy, this worked a treat in my video! One issue I have, is I have x2 images that need tracking, 1 is the background, and other is an image at the front of the video, the background is working, but not the front image on the track. I have tried using the same "plannar transform" as well as using a new "plannar transform", neither worked, any ideas?

If I wanted to Zoom in and have the center of the camera follow the object, can this be done?

I track it, but it doesnt track it fully.
Its a potion and someone is drinking it - its falling down.
The image is static and barely moving, tracked only 1.25/4 of it maybe 2/4.
doesn't dissapear at the end either

i did "new fusion clip", but when i went to the fusion tab, it's empty...

pointless video...too fast

What should be done if my image needs to be started with out of frame? This method works for me only if the image is fully in frame :(
if it's partilly in the frame, Davinci crops the part that's not in frame

Haven’t tried this editor yet and would like to ask, can you have motion tracking with zoom? (Example: a character moving on a screen and you want to zoom in on them)
