Nice review! Astro A50 are still my go to. I literally bought a set of Nova Wireless, Turtle Beach Pro and constantly compared the same gaming scenes. I was looking for the loudest headset out, and the Astro A50 kept at it every time.

I personally spent about 8-16 hours constant review-crunching and thinking about which one to go for. It came down to the option of SS Nova Pro with black friday-discount or Logitech without discount. Without discounts? Easily Logitech - offers a lot and is so much cheaper than the Nova Pro. Also on every and all reviews I liked the sound of the Logitech's mic more.
Now... make the SS Arctis Nova Pro clearly cheaper than the Logitech? Very, very difficult.

I chose Logitech. I love how they feel, how they sound and the battery life is amazing as well. The Mic is good enough for several hours long chats on Discord, so it's good enough. I wish these - at the price point especially - had similar level as Blackshark 2023, but you can't have it all. If SS Mic was as good as the Blacksharks's, I wouldn't have hesitated one second.

Oh and just to point out, you misspelled the Steelseries Arctis (not Arctic) Nova Pro :o

Anyway lovely review and if I had to freely choose from these 5? Not sure I could pick one above the other. Have the Logitech's design and feel with SS's extra, add Blackshark's mic with the look of Audeze's? You got a deal :D

I went with lenovo. Was looking at arctic 3 and the prime. Idk🤷

Razer kills with the mic but I worry about their quality and reliability - too many bad reviews out there. It seems that Audeze may be the best combo of reliability/quality and mic sound.

What are the best noise cancelling headsets for ps5 as all of the headsets that are top seem to have that little *noise cancelling on pc! So what's best for ps I got the steel series nova but the noise from the room or outside noise was unbearable for other people! I had the turtle beach elite pro 2 with the super amp prior to looking now but... There was a screeching noise a crackle noise it would bust my ear drums I sent them back got another set and the same thing happened I gave up and kept them threes years in the mic jack is broken so can't have the mic in and also the ear muff has completely come away from the casing (£9 easy fix) I'm fed up spending £150+ for headsets and them not being worth the £sss CAN YOU PLEASE do a review for ps5 and noise cancelling (people even complained they could hear my game through the headset!)

I tired the Nova and they disappointed me massively. Sent them back and luckily got a refund.

Uncomfortable, shallow ear cup, insane creaking and when couple with the insanely sensitive mic, just a bad all round experience. People could hear the clock ticking on my wall. Every adjustement I'd make to the ear cups or head movement and they would creak and it'd come through into the mic.

I own the last gen logies gaming pro X and in about 5 minutes you can make the microphone sound like you are talking face to face with someone!

nice review but you need to learn how to grow a beard and how to take care of it, know how to set the lines and so on. Jaw left + right and draw the line two fingers over your adams apple connect them and you have a perfect jaw line of beard. No neck beard my dude never ever.

Should i get the Nova 7 which is $140 or should i go for the older black sharks v2 pros 2020 $120????

My problem is that i have a xbox to and i cannot connect the blackshark (2023) so i guess i go with logitech

Snagged a blackshark v2 pro 2023 edition for $40 BRAND NEW on FB Marketplace. Absolutely insane deal and ive been loving them. I dont use the mic because i have a standalone condenser, but occasionally when I'm on a call and walking around the house I'll throw in the mic. People have commented on how great it sounds and almost can't notice that i switched to the headset mic. The sound is great, synapse is far from perfect but has gotten better, and they're incredibly comfortable. Amazing for retail price, but I got an absolute STEAL for price paid to quality

I used to love Turtle beach but with two sets snaping at the hinges due to low quality non flex plastic in the 700 gen2 MAX I'm cautious about buying there pro ones

As you said, the Razer Blacksharks are absolutely comfortable! They are the most comfortable headset I have ever used.

Dont buy Audeze... poorly made broke within 6 months of normal use.

I'm a bit wary with Turtle Beach now as I had the Stealth 700 Gen 2 Max and the plastic around the hinge ended up cracking and the whole left earcup broke off, with nothing but the inner wire connecting it. I'm sure the more expensive Stealth Pro has better build quality but the Stealth 700 wasn't exactly cheap either. And I only had it for just under a year and never manhandled it or anything. Just normal use

I have 3 major headphones. The best is my Audio Technica m50x that i turned into a full fledged gaming headset by getting the mic u can plug into the headphones where the regular cord goes. It comes with an audio volume dial, but i disregard it, b/c i bought the turtle beach audio dial for xbox. Microsoft has its own dial but nowhere as detailed as the turtle beach b/c it not only has the typical volume & mute, but it has 5 eq pptions for the audio & 3 eq options for the mic, master volume on 1 side, chat to game volume on the other side, 3 options for mic monitoring, etc. I also replaced the earpads fpr wicked cusions which feel like pillows, & help with noise canceling...2nd i got The Razer Kaira pro's halo edition. I was surprised at how good they sound. They pretty much have all the same features i just named, but the main thing i love is the look & rgb lol, but the THING THAT I REALLY REALLY LOVE is being able to listen to the game & phone simultaneously!!! These literally were made for me b/c i dont think theres ever been a time where i only want to do or hear 1 thing. I didn't even know it was possible. With my audio technica's i would take an earbud & put it in my ear & put my headphones over it & control the volume of it thru my phone. That feature really fits me perfectly. I recently got a PS5 a couple of months ago for Spider-Man 2...I wanted to get another pair of Razer Kaira pro's but they dont have the simultaneously feature. Now i found out the Steel Series Artics 7x has that feature & can be used on both consoles, so i gotta try them out to see how they actually sound, but it was perfect timing for Spider-Man 2

In a review on Amazon/Germany I read that with TB loudness of PS5 is not as loud as on Xbox. Is that true? I want to buy the TB but if that`s a fact...Has someone an answer? For me important is the TB Stealth Pro Xbox cause I´m playing on Xbox and PS5...Thank you in advance.

I've got the old steel series wireless and now the piece from the headband to the headphone has snapped out. They work perfectly besides that so i'm kinda pissed. I've had them for several years. Really wish the new ones were metal instead of plastic. Would pick them up in a heartbeat

I’m looking for wireless headphones that don’t do the “hands free mode” thing where they sound like crap when you have to use the mic. Do these headphones do that? And how can I tell when purchasing whether a headset will do that or not?

I don't understand why that Audeze neck is plastic while the rest of the band parts are metal. Is it possible the neck seemingly plastic outside has metal in it?

My son broke my JBL headset and the band was plastic. I am never buying another plastic headset that cost premium dollars.

When you need to change the battery on the steelseries, put two fingers on the cup. Then do a quarter turn, flip the headphones upside down and gravity will help you . 👍 (work smarter not harder) Thanks for another great video.

I went to the Wicked Ear Cup site after I watched your video and saw some cool cooling pads but didn't look close enough since I assumed since you said you could replace the pads with wickeds on your review on the Blackshark V2 pro 2023s. When you said you could replace the original cups with super comfortable wicked pads I was excited to hear that. I already had a return started to return these with Amazon because of the original ear cup discomfort. After watching your video I canceled my return to Amazon thinking I'd replace the pads that you said could be put on the 2023’s with the wicked ones cooling pads but as I now see they say they don't have fits for 2023!? Only pre-2023? very very disappointed when I saw they only ones for pre-2023! ?? Why?? Would you happen to know or recommend a different brand that will fit the 2023 version?

Hope to hear back from you soon so I can hopefully find a good replacement you'd recommend. If not I’ll probably, unfortunately, start a return item process again.

Honestly, I watched the video, and for the price, I feel like the Steelseries' microphone is straight up unacceptable. I feel like it would disqualify them even when compared to some $100-$150 wireless headsets.

Just ordered the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro’s based on your review and the feature set. It’s basically everything I wanted in a headset. I’m coming off the Arctis 9s so I’m looking forward to something with a bit more bass.

Question is the blackshark v2 pro durable and does it last because on alot of the videos people complain about it breaking?

Anybody else having the problem with the Nova Pro that the Sound on PS5 is absolutely bad?

I had the arctis pro, they were fantastic, i loved the features of having different audio exits tfor my stream and all, the audio was good, and they were comfortable... but.. they broke exactly where you said it does get loose

STEELSERIES send me a NEW PAIR for free, without me even sending the originals to them, just informations and pictures, so, customer service 5/5

BUT after 2 years, they broke again in the same spot.... over time, it did crack, and it came off, and ive beeen still using the headset for the past 2 months, and now im thinking what to buy...


I DON'T CARE about spending, but im genuinly scared they are mjust gonna break again... i was not rough with them, they didn't fall, i didn't smash them or all, of course id din't treat them like they were made of glass, but i was careful, specially with the second one


looking at the nova, im assuming they did try to fix that issue becasue they look WAY more stretchy, but im unsure what to buy, because it looks like they are in the mid of making a new step with them, id be pissed if new model came out as soon as i bought nova or something.

Did you do any range connectivity test on these? My set of razers constantly dc, even within 5 ft of the computer.

Is the bass louder on The Stealth Pro, or the Maxwell louder?

I'm using Razer Blackshark v2 pro gen 1 for abooout 2 years now. I dont drop them, i clean them from time to time and they have been the best most reliable headset I've owned. I dont use the mic too often so just headset and no wires and they are perfect. My suggestion for the best headset also. Especially if you can find gen 1 cheap.

I bought the blackshark v2 pros a while back and i was super disappointed with them. They have mic monitoring but even turned to the max i can barely hear it. I had to max out the volume on the headset then turn windows down to like 5% to hear it. Sucks cause everyone always said they were pretty solid

I just got a set of Audeze Maxwells and they don't feel overly-heavy. I really like mine.
