I take it he didn't make it back?
ОтветитьName of intro track?
Useful video. Exploration is the least delved (ironically) subject.
when you get to the center does the game generate a whole other galaxy?
Ответитьgood luck with the test
ОтветитьWasn't able to ear the video, my ears where still bleeding from that intro music :)
ОтветитьThis goes along with "limited resources", the "Auto Field Maintenance unit" can't repair the Canopy, Hull and Thrusters because of no access to parts.
The next upgrade should enable the AFM drone(s) to repair those items IF there's spare parts listed or a device (3D printer?) that can manufacture the components needed to repair or replace the damaged items including Canopy and hull panels.
One thing I've noticed about these "Exploration" videos (craft setup), I don't remember seeing anything mentioned about "Food"?That's the limiting factor of all expeditions.
ОтветитьNice vid. I hope you did well in your Uni test.
ОтветитьThanks for the informative video, you got my sub ^^ and good luck with you test svenske bror. Hyggelig hilsener fra Norge! :)
ОтветитьSuch a shame there's just two videos on this channel. Really enjoyed both of them though!
ОтветитьNow you can plot a 1000ly course, getting the biggest A grade fuel scoop is a must
ОтветитьYour intro music really does my head in otherwise not a bad video.
ОтветитьThe audio is really bad on my high end sound card, I pick up a lot of bad sound compared to other videos of this game on 1080p settings. Please look into it, I want to watch this video but now I have a headache!
Ответитьwtf going Exploring is to get to elite and your name on stars and so and going and looking at rely cool worlds and so on the video is ok
ОтветитьThanks for explaining things so clearly for a beginner.
ОтветитьFuel Scoops are really important, but I disagree with poster, bigger the better! After a while you are going to get bored with scooping, by A6 (biggest I can fit inside an Asp Explorer) and I can refuel 50t of fuel in one loop around the star.......
Ответитьcan you please share the hud matrix color that you're using? I mean, the code :B... thanks btw and thanks for all the tips. Nice video!
ОтветитьI disagree with getting the advanced scanner. I think that makes exploring too easy. You fly in, scan everything, determine if you want to scan any planet specifically and then move on going as fast as possible. There doesn't seem to be any exploring going on. Everything is laid out for you. Using an intermediate scanner, requires you to look around for planets and stars.
Yes it takes more time, but it's time spent doing something, On the hunt for elusive planets and stars beyond the 1,000ls radius.
Hmm investing in a sidewinder sounds fun for exploration
ОтветитьSong at the end
Ответитьam 3500 light years toward center and already feeling lonely :D slowly getting insane! also trying to work my way toward a nebula but its hard to find a path as there are many dead ends! i got asp with 33ly jump
ОтветитьThat music at the beginning of the video thoughhh
ОтветитьDid you manage to get back from the center??
Ответитьi started playing this amazing game last friday, these kind of video's help me out alot! thx!
ОтветитьI found a discrepancy with the Advanced Discovery Scanner... If it says it's range is infinite in that stats, that would mean it could scan every object in the entire universe!
ОтветитьGet the biggest fuel scoop and the best (A*) for your ship. Take two field maintenance units (A* - as they weight nothing) and take heat sinks. And look on Frontier forum for advice from the best explorer in the game - Cmdr Bloody Nutter. And remember, even a sidewinder can reach Sagittarius A. DO NOT take a cheap fuel scoop to the core. Ever!
ОтветитьThanks for the vid
ОтветитьI agree with most of video except for fuel scoop I would get best possible. don't want to be waiting around refilling tank when you could be jumping
ОтветитьThis was a great video thanks for all the info ^.^ And good luck flying into the blackhole.
''Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.''
I tend to scoop fuel every 5-6 jumps or so. I don't let my fuel drop below half most of the time, just because of badland regions. Ran into a whole many light year swath of brown dwarfs on my way to the North America nebula.
ОтветитьPlease, can anybody say me ,,How I can see the outside of fhe ship and not the Cockpit at all time ?“
ОтветитьInformative video! =) What is he talking about when mentioning interstellar? What's the theory / speculation?? Is there somewhere speciel you can go? I have seen the movie, but don't get what he's hinting at...
ОтветитьDoesn't scanning individual planets add the the value of the maps you're selling?
ОтветитьI like your HUD. I hope they will add an option to quickly change color.
ОтветитьGood luck with your job and test!
ОтветитьThis game would be dramatically improved by implementing fairly simple details. For example, if they incliduded some form of variable incidental activities...like walking around your ship mid travel with challenging things to do like ship maintenance, engineering challenge minigames with potential ship performance improvements. Somethng other than a simple cockpit, a 220 degree view and a lot of similar star systems. It's incredibly frustrating to see a game with so much possibility, so much investment in creating a substructure but almost nothing but puddle deep immersive activity.
ОтветитьWhat song is that in the beginning?
Ответитьi happened to go through a star in binary system while exiting hyperspace. it happened once till now, but im positive i remember it right. looks like devs consider that danger, and make ships etheral till they won't stop completly.
ОтветитьUse an Asp expect around 33 LY jump range
C 1 Detailed Surface Scanner
C 1 Advanced Discovery Scanner
Get the best scoop you can, contrary to the 'tip' given here when you have 30 jumps in your route you're not going to be entering the map or mucking around doing anything other than grabbing fuel, then aligning to the next system.
Get an A class FSD - max jump range is your holy grail
Replace the modules on your ship based on the lowest mass units that will do the job.
completely empty hardpoints - lower mass c= longer jump range
The field repair units - fit two, the best for available power, you will only really need them if you play Icarus, save them for the time you cant move or jump - no need to top off 3% damage!
You shouldn't need a shield, I always fit one, because the last thing you need is some new pilot getting lost and trashing your ship (and all the data) as you try to land after a few hundred systems scanned, think of it as a nice big rubber bumper for landing.
Learn how to filter out systems below class K in the map - helped me no end finding scoopable systems when you're in an ocean of TT's
Awesome video. Im a newb to the game and am wondering how your game looks so amazing. A, how do you view outside your ship. B, how did you turn your ships interface blue. C, how are you able to see so many distant stars when you are out in space? Does that change when you go farther into deep space or is it a mod? My game looks almost bitch black all the time and i have all my graphics turned up all the way.
ОтветитьCan't get out of the region people have already explored, despite going for hundreds of ly...
ОтветитьIf you do manage to return to colonized worlds you can make serious bank if you use your surface scanner on planets
