I was a kid in '88 and my home town of Calgary had the winter Olympics
Sounds like a winter Baywatch theme song
This must’ve inspired the music for Wii Sports 😂
This is stunning!
My dad used to play this on the piano when I was a kid. I never forgot it.
I had my jazz band learn and perform this at one of our concerts years ago. It got one of the largest ovations for the entire concert!
That dude's career is remarkable.
There's a great documentary about him

Ответитьi never realized this was David Foster
1988, a life-changing year in more ways than I can describe. This song was part of it, not the decision to make the changes but more of a sense of energy and optimism that was justified. Now I'm old and looking back on those halcyon years and the even better ones that followed it with gratitude.
I play this theme almost every day, it makes me feel super, excited!!!
Love this song, even if it is not in an Olympic year. It is one of the most forgotten songs of the Olympic Games.
Now go listen to the version by 826Aska -- which is done SOLO and is every bit as magnificent.
Ayo! PrismCorp!!
This rly gives me wii sports vibes
This is my son's page can I reach David Foster you know his email?
Memories.
It wouldn't be the 80's if there wasn't a bass guitar riff in there... 😁 Great Music.
I have to second the comment about the epic version done by the Japanese Tachibana Senior High School marching band - if you want to sit up straight and pay attention, it's well worth a listen! (Warning: Some viewers may experience goose bumps.)

I've to write guitar parts for my bands cover version of this song - YIKES!!!
I was 7, I remember this theme.🤗
You can really feel how much this has inspired the Main Theme of Wii Sports
In Philippines, it is played when presenting a speaker especially in graduation rites
Yes, I wrote the lyrics to it.
Spent all kinds of time on the lyrics making them perfect, only to be searching you tube and see that lyrics had been written in the 1980’s under a different title. I think the title was “Can’t you feel it”.
I was at the Aspen Colorado Subaru down hill ski races.
I wrote lyrics based on the excitement that was going on that I witnessed first hand.
I like the lyrics I wrote.
David B.
As a Calgarian, thank you Mr. Foster for writing such a wonderful song for one of the highlights in our city's history. Hearing this song brings back many happy memories of that time.
Ответитьmusik multi level marketing 😀
1988 till 2022. Never faded.
Biar tambah semangat...
The most excellent students of the Kyoto Tachibana High School Band do what I believe is the best rendition of this great tune.
This song makes me think of Kyoto Tachibana SHS band.

Beautiful days (last century years) when the world was a nice place to dream, to live and to love: no progress ideologies, no C0V1D, no forced vaccination, not too much power of bad people and no restrictions to study, work, travel, I mean: a free world.
