Do the covers for quest 2 work with quest1 ?

Still helpful in 2023 man! I just ordered one on amazon and theres only 12 left there. I imagine they will become very hard to find soon.
The reason I'm ordering one for OG quest is that although i have a quest 2 with elite strap and vrcover I like to play Vrchat sometimes for hours wirelessly and it's nice to be able to just swap headsets when battery drains but honeslty for wireless pc gaming I kinda prefer the image on the quest 1, yes yes yes it has a lower resolution and refresh rate but that oled screen makes up for all of that in VRC, better blacks and colours in my opinion. I already have a comfy China headstrap for quest 1 so I'm looking forward to some face comfort now.

I’m trying to find a cover that will not press so bad on my forehead and cheeks…..what do you recommend? I have a small head and very short hair close to bald. Its so many videos out I don’t know where to start.

It doesn’t work with the original glass spacer at all. Why are you telling people this? You video doesn’t even show this, it just shows you clipping something in, which will just be the cover.

I just got a VR Cover foam replacement for my Quest 1, and it's great! It took a bit to adjust right and get used to it, but once I got used to it, it was much more comfortable than the stock foam!
It's nice that it doesn't soak up sweat, and the comfort foam works pretty good with my glasses. The included sanitizing wipes are nice too, and it comes with a good amount of them.

Should I use thick one or thin one?

Mine didn’t come with the Velcro interface

I just got scammed I ordered it thinking it would fit with glasses and my glasses hit the lense and now I don't have money because of that

Nothing will stop VR face. You're putting pressure on your face for at least an hour, so of course the blood vessels will react.

Eyeglasses spacer does not fit VR cover I repeat does not fit VR cover!

Too bad they dont ship to canada cant check out

FYI, VRCover for Quest 2 DOES NOT work with the glasses spacer.
I don't wear glasses but the spacer takes me just far enough away from the lenses to stop the awful glare around the outside and also clear up the blurriness.
I didn't think that would be an issue, like I would assume a car i bought had an engine or a TV I bought had an HDMI port but, here I am. Can't send back because of hygiene so I'm stuck with an overpriced piece of fake leather.
I'm not sacrificing my visuals for a little bit of comfort.

Still waiting for it to be released on the Rift S, we have a silicon cover that really isn't that good

The replacement interface is like a must for the original quest. That stock “cussion” is SOOOOOOOOOOOO uncomfortable

The AMVR pro replacement kit is pretty decent also. It's ventilated as well. VR COVER is the king but the shipping time to the USA is loooong.

I've been on the fence about buying one of these but I don't want to risk import tax, I live in the UK and a 40% upcharge on an already expensive product just isn't justifiable to me.

They are $29 and has some stupid charge of $19 added on for Covid-19? Hell no, not paying $48 for this AT ALL.

Idk it sats on the qebsite contains chemicals that cause cancer why would i want that on my face???

Little question: i find that the origninal cover is irritating for my face around my nose, is the vr covermones better for this ? because its really unconfortable it can even hurt sometimes.

Edit: inforgot to mention, this would be the only reason for me to buy it, hygiene is not a problem for me right now because i dont really sweat in it.

I have this but it didn't work. I couldn't fit my glasses interface with the vr vinyl cover, it wouldn't pop in. So I'm stuck using the original face cushion. Any suggestions..

My experience in personal is that the cover makes it even more uncomfortable it leaves even more light leakage and hurts your face it’s not very good 0/10

How does this vr cover effect the field of view?

I wanted the material thing but as a cushion and not a cloth that moves a lot

Just received my order, honestly I have no idea how Oculus can ship the Quest as is. I had people ask me if I returned to martial arts as I had deep indents in my face from wearing the Quest. The VR cover is super plush, but I have yet to give it a real session as I had my Quest sitting on a shelf while I waited 3 weeks for the VR cover.
