What do you mean by 'Dongle'? Isn't a dongle just a standard usb plugin thing but portable?

Hey, i want to use GarageBand or some Synthesizers on my I Pad Pro and connect this to my sampler, later i want to connect some more devices to it. Does this work with an Interface connected to a dongle?

I want to use my iPad Pro to access the patches in the internal sequencer of my Korg Pa 3X. I want to integrate the patches of the synth into my workflow. (This wasn't possible before. I'm hoping the M1 chip allows for this)

On new iPad Pro M1 (5th gen) both class compliant Apogee Mic 96 or Sennheiser MK4 Digital are not recognized even if powered.
In addition it is not possibile to change/rise project sample rate (fixed by default @ 48khz).
Take notice that the units are fully recognized at 96k/24 bit by Garageband and Apogee Metarecorder apps.
Cubasis 3 is @ last version available.

I use that Yamaha usb to host midi adapter with small power bank for any wireless Bluetooth to iPad. Latency is pretty good and not noticeable.

Hey, for the life of me, I have been unable to connect my USB keyboard to my ipad pro 12.9" (after purchasing tons of software to start doing music production on the ipad). I purchased the Anker USB Docking station and when I'm able to make a connection (connect Anker Docking station -> to the ipad --> Focusrite interface --> to the speakers), it often cuts out and 70% of the time, no matter what configuration I try (i.e., where I plug in the USB-C connectors to the Anker Docking station), cannot get a consistent connection. I have the very best ipad and an expensive docking station and surprised that I cannot get a reliable connection to start working with my USB midi keyboard, mic and guitar. My goal connect USB midi keyboard, mic, guitar, monitors (speakers), to the ipad for music production. Equipment: Focusrite 2 input interface, ipad pro 12.9", Anker USB Powered Docking station (I also have the less-expensive Anker USB-C 555 Hub that might be the answer)...HELP

Setting up a mobile studio for recording vocals. Using a apogee symphony desktop. My question is can I plug the apogee hypemic into the interface or straight into the iPad? Is it compatible with that interface? I know the mic plugs into the iPad itself but would that be defeating the purpose if having the interface? Or should I not go with the USB mic and use a microphone that plugs directly into the interface?

Noob here. Since the iPad Pro /Air4 don't have a 1/8in out. How do you hear the sound? Trying to make a setup and don't understand. Looking for a weighted 88 key to IPadAir4. And have no idea what I need to make it work. Even Apple has no idea as I spent 3 hours with Tech support management and they couldn't even tell me how to get audio out of the iPad due to it having only one port. Even Guitar Center had no idea.
