what about scraplets
ОтветитьI will never forget the horror I saw when Ironhide faded to rust
ОтветитьDon't make sense that megatron only got infected but not astrotrain
ОтветитьCosmic rust is basically just gold plastic syndrome if it was in a gun and also covid
ОтветитьDoes anyone get the distinctive feeling that fiction has predicted the future in some way?
ОтветитьThis episode freaked me out
ОтветитьI want to know how rodimus survived
ОтветитьTheory:
Because Velocitron is a desert planet which orbits close to it's corresponding star, and the continued traffic on it's vast web or roadways, means that there is probably a lot of heat throughout. This likely stimulated the pathogens growth in a similar fashion to the Antillan heat ray, causing it to spread at an extremely rapid pace, even disintegrating large amounts of infrastructure. Velocitron may be the most vulnerable to the rust plague out of all the Transformers' colony worlds.
Hmm
ОтветитьI prefer the G1 version of cosmic rust.
Ответитьwait when did g1 have cosmic rust?
ОтветитьGood lore, anything but a rust virus?
ОтветитьIn transformers prime Optimus caught a deception plague similar to the cosmic rust
ОтветитьVirgins: "Starscream is a wimp."
Starscream: Takes away a dangerous corrosive meteorite with his own pincer yet never gets any corrosion nor ill effects.
Wasn’t StarScream a scientist before the….oh yeah.😂
ОтветитьIronhide didn’t deserve to go out in that way, and we all can never forget that day…..
ОтветитьIron rusts because of exposure to oxygen or water.
Ответитьthe g1 cosmic rust episode scared the shit out of me as a kid
ОтветитьHow on earth is “cosmic rust” cartoonish?
ОтветитьSentinel prime used rust ti kill Iron Hide in "Dark Of The Moon"
ОтветитьHoly shit this is just a a war crime
ОтветитьIn Transformers Prime, they called it Cybonic Plague, which makes the victim rust to death.
ОтветитьThe warning from the generation once cartoon always bugged me as a kid
Ответить"We were fine..our planet was prospering and its peoples healthy and happy...Antilla meteor shower."
ОтветитьI had to watch this one again since it's one of the better S2 episodes I did notice an animation error(always one in every G1 show)as an unknown decepticon was on top of the statue of liberty helping the autobots.I didn't notice or care as a 6 or 7 year old child and whoever left it all the screw ups to save money knew it didn't matter to kids but if you rewatch it as an adult they're all over the place.
ОтветитьMattel, Type-Moon and Nintendo's equivalent to Cosmic Rust from Transformers is a disease that infects on Servants, Humans and Machines including Humanoid and Non-Humanoid Robots.
ОтветитьWasn’t cosmic rust in transformers prime when Optimus gets infected by the virus when he and ratchet went to search a cybertronian spacecraft and the crew members were leaking energon that carried it
ОтветитьYep, Jetfire complaining about his Rusty Arse...that's Mark Ryan taking the monumental mick out of his friend Ray Winstone 😅
ОтветитьBut sari is part Cybertron what would happen if she got hit by cosmic rust
ОтветитьMyHeadCanon: Antilla was one of the many Cybertronian Colonies in the Golden Age. It was a highly advanced civilization, but asteroids containing rust germs land the planet the Antillan planet defense weapon was infused with the rust germs and the heat ray then activated supercharging the Rust Germs into The Rust Plague making Antilla and its people rust into dust and started spreading to the other colonies via space bridge the Cybertronians were force to destroy the Space bridge network to prevent their race extinction, saving Cybertron and the rest of the colonies. During the war on Cybertron the Decepticon’s chemical warfare expert, Oil Slick developed Cosmic Rust a Weaponized Version of The Rust Plague. The Autobots had to storm Oil Slick’s Factory to steal the cure and replicate it to save the rest of the Autobots
Corrodia Gravis is a very rare disease that causes Cybertronians Cyber-Matter to start melting but at the start of the Golden Age a research doctor named Red Alert created a Vaccine for Corrodia Gravis
Trivia
Oil Slick created many bio weapons like Cybonic plague, Mind changer virus, and Tox-en gas bombs
Oil Slick did create a formula for a Cyber-virus that would’ve transform humans into cyber-lifeforms but was foiled when the Aerialbots destroyed the key to Vector Sigma
The Name of the cure for Cosmic Rust is called Corrostop
Corrostop was invented by Oil Slick
Corrodia Gravis is the Cybertronian equivalent to Leprosy
Yikes 😮
ОтветитьIt was interesting to see version of this in the animated series. Laughable, but interesting.
ОтветитьTransformer aids
ОтветитьAnyone else reminded of Gold Plastic Syndrome?
ОтветитьThis was sweet 🎂
ОтветитьAnd this is why you should wear face masks like Optimus Prime.
ОтветитьI bet the Tranformers that Rust survived only their body has died not the Spark the spark is a Electrical Heart but not a Metal
ОтветитьDident astro tain rust when he got hit by the Meteor lole meg does
ОтветитьCan we see Cybonic Plague?
ОтветитьThe recording gave me chills.
Keep in mind i never say it as a kid, this is the first time I saw it
I wonder why that infected bot went to velictron, it’s never established if that bot was an autobot or Decepticons. He was a wheeljack recolor but had a Decepticon colorscheme. And he looked pretty sad
ОтветитьCosmic rust. More like gold plastic syndrome
ОтветитьWhile Cosmic Rust is a horrible way for robots to die from, I honestly think it would be an ideal chemical weapon for The Resistance to use to fight and destroy SkyNet and all the Terminator robots.
ОтветитьChrisMcFeely: In the 2011 live-action movie: Dark of the Moon, turncoat Autobot Sentinel Prime wielded a Cosmic Rust cannon, which he used to kill Ironhide.
Me: DON’T REMIND ME!!!!!!
😭😭😭
I know a Prime set fanfic called Bioformers that explores the origins of the Rust Plague by tying it into the Black Fleet from the game Destiny
Ответитьnew transformers fan: Hey man what inspired cosmic rust
Me: aids
Surprised they haven’t linked the cosmic rust to the sparkles and done a horror story run.
“The Transforming Sparkless”
With some ancient mystic stuff whynot.
Oh pour Megatron, never mind Astrotrain!
ОтветитьLooks like this is another video that needs a pinned post!
1) The Sea of Rust is unrelated to Cosmic Rust. It's existed since the 80s, and has taken a variety of forms; I'll probably look at it in a video of its own some day.
2) The disease Optimus Prime was stricken with in "Transformers: Prime" was Cybonic Plague. It's got the same conceptual origin as Cosmic Rust (ts name is a reference to the bubonic plague, aka the Black Death, which Cosmic Rust was likened to by Perceptor in the G1 episode), but it's not a Cosmic Rust. Similarly, Scraplets have nothing to do with Cosmic Rust. Why would I talk about Scraplets? They'll get their own video. This isn't a video about Transformer illness in general, so it's not included here. A video about TF disease in general is still certainly on the cards, though, as there are a lot of them; Cosmic Rust just happens to be the one that can support its own video.
