In Washington DC, most of the apartments and houses prices are more expensive than Hawaii's.

There's a 476 square feet studio apartment that rents for about $2300.00 monthly.
It does come with nice amenities for $350.00 a year.
Plus, you have to pay for electricity.

Therefore they can hire people to go around cleaning since people are disrespectful. The local shouldn't have to Fork over their hard-earned tax money to pay that. Some of the info is false people!!! I lived in Kaneohe over 5 years and there are super markets that have a local card which you can register for. Once you have this card, you can get great discounts. Maybe it is only in Kaneohe.
