The only flaw I see in your data collection is you assumed because the data sets were similar it was a confirmation. However what you actually did was poll the same audience twice and most likely they reconfirmed their own decisions.

Not saying that in any way invalidates how cool the concept and rest of the video are though. Was still a lot of fun to watch. Keep up the great work mate. Cheers.

I didn't even have a full team for most of violet. Just skeledirdge, gogoat, luxray, and zoroark.

How was Squirtle picked the least? Also no Kadabra or Alakazam is weird, super powerful Pokemon.

My final team in Ultra Moon was Incineroar, Metagross, Ampharos, Ribombee, Furfrou, and Tumptump the Trevenant.

I threw strategy out the window in Gen 9 and went with swag instead. My team was Skeledirge, Ceruledge, Annihilape, Pawmo, Baxcalibur, and the last spot changed a lot, I had Tinkiton, Gengar,and Cititan, rotating in and out a lot.

I’m so sad no one appreciates the adorable water duck. I saw Quaxly & immediately loved him. Had to pick him.

I thought I would see Gengar for Red and Blue. I go with Charmander but it makes me feel bad to see the equally cool Bulbasaur stuck in Charmander's shadow.

for Gen 9, i really doubt anyone had chosen a full Gen 9 team Especially when they had a Charizard gifted to them basically. for me and me alone, i removed the fire starter and replaced it with Charizard then the rest of my team was Kingambit, Lucario, Roaring moon, Tyranitar, and Gardevoir.

In platinum you can get an abra very early and teach it hidden power, so I'd usually end up with at least the bold choice of Infernape, Luxray, Staraptor, Gastrodon, Alakazam, and Lucario

Cloyster is my sleeper gen 1 pick. Surf, Ice beam, toxic, and clamp was a great set. Clamp, like wrap and firespin, was very op back in the day.

My picks are defiantly far from the margin of normal.

- I almost ALWAYS box my starter cus i like something else of the same typing better, like Growleth or Vulpix.

- I almost always have 1 eevee.

- I tend to not evolve alot of my pokemon. Cus i like the way a smaller form looked.

- I rarely bothered with legendaries or rare pokemon.

- on occasion i had multiple of the same type in my party if i liked them enough.

- I’m SO BIAS towards Gen 1 & 2 that i basically reject 70% of new stuff if given the chance.

My brother in christ the Pkmn Yellow team was one lapras away from being the exact team of Red in SoulSilver/HeartGold 💀

For Gen 4 most of the times I pick Turtwig as the starter but I agree 😂 I’ve never had Lucario as “Main Team”

For yellow I used Pikachu, all three starters, glitched a mew, and then Dragonite.

Currently playing bdsp and just finished legends arceus and that gen 4 team is identical in all three expect replace floatzel for Bibarel

Disagree with Noctowl losing out to Crobat, most people couldn't evolve Golbat. Also I think Lapras or even Poliwag are more likely than Red Gyarados since he comes quite late in the game for a water type. No way Breloom over Camerupt either tbh, fire type much more important than grass.

Lucian and Cynthia together were so hard, I had to restart the game and develop a team specifically to counter them. I did end up with Infernape, Roserade, and Luxray on my team, but I used Gastrodon, Honchcrow, and Bronzong for the rest of the team. This was the team I confronted Cyrus with, but after catching Dialga, I switched him with Bronzong for the Elite Four. Water/ground became my favorite typing thanks to Gastrodon, and Honchcrow made short work of the commonly seen Medichams.

I didn't click for a somewhat good idea of the teams. I hate click bait titles.

My Sc/Vi team ended up being Skeledirge, Lurantis, Tinkaton, Annihilape, Garganacl, and Cetitan. I love all of these pokemon to death but WOW Lurantis and Cetitan need MAJOR buffs. Lurantis was fine but was held back by being a pure grass type (I think Fighting would do it wonders), but I can't recall a single major battle where Cetitan wasn't IMMEDIATELY knocked out upon entry. The rest of the team was incredible though-- Tinkaton had an atk lowering nature and Gigaton Hammer STILL one-shot almost everything I used it on

I'm going to stop watching at the Scarlet/Violet section because I haven’t played them yet. But I had fun watching up to this point! I love how we don't need to elaborate on the Sinnoh team lol. I'm also guilty of replacing Swellow with Flygon and Swoobat (not Unfeazant, surprisingly!) with Archeops.
