If this were to target famine-stricken areas, I would probably support it. But, they are trying to push it, instead, on us (US and Europe). And, it's not like they will offer you a choice of lab-grown or real meat. They will simply ban real meat and force you to eat that stuff. And, of course, there will be exceptions for very high-end restaurants and shops so the elites that promote this can still eat their real steaks. Yet, we will be forced to eat lab meat. And how many times have we been burned by messing with nature? Replacing butter with margarine, using artificial colors and additives, using emulsifiers ? All was later (often decades later) has been linked to heart disease and cancers. Industrialization of food is not a good aspiration.

omg, it is disgusting. Honestly you try to provide consumers the same level of meat, food, clothing tech etc. But in reality people just need to consume more. Beef is not that healthy to be consumed in large quanitites, so people should switch to some vegetarian options instead of just providing them with another beef substitutes. it could be done by raising vat on beef and reducing it on vegetarian meals, etc. Plus, jesus christ, just kill that cow already instead of growing cells in fake like liquid removed from a pregnant cow from the fetus. What ruined the respect for the animals and the quality of our meat is that we no hunt. You learn to appreciate and are more humble when you hunt and take the animal's life. It's better to because it helps with population issues and the animal was free and had a good life vs being in a fence or cage all your life. I think 3d printing meat is going to cause a lot bad unforseen issues.
