I went from a 3600 to a 5600x and the improvements are very impressive, my friend wanted a computer and asked me to build him one so i upgraded and couldn't be happier.

Wish Wendell did complete 5800x investigation considering overheating and underperforming by default. Getting like 90c thermal limit using deepcool assasin III while all cores are hitting 4.45ghz on cinebench and on top my Gigabyte x570 aorus elite tends to overvolt it up to 1.475v. At first i did tweaking with pbo curve optimizer, been testing cpu for week and couldn't find best settings... I mean ive been tweaking each core and testing stability, but i was getting random crashes with kernel power 41, it's not bsod system just shuts down and restarts and it's funny, because i could game for many hours using 3080, or render some stuff, running 3dmark loops for cpu test, or doing loops with cinebench and no crashes, however it could crash in csgo after couple matches or sometimes it could run just fine, or crash while being idle or while trying to install windows update. So i gave up on every core tweaking because i wasn't getting WHEA error to figure which core or cores are not stable. So ended up setting negative 20 for every core instead of trying to find which will go lower and set PPT to 115w, Temperature dropped to 74c instead of 90c and cinebench kinda stays at 4.65ghz. It's sad AMD didn't optimize 5800x. Still needs more investigation.

is it normal for my cpu to spike up to 87C while gaming but mostly averaging around 77c. I have PBO on and a negative curve limiter of -20. while stress testing the cpu i never reached temps over 75c which was super weird and I don't understand how gaming in Valorant, CSGO, Warzone could have my cpu spike up taht much.

Only thing missing was an actual mic drop.
