I have this dispenser with the family hub model. But my light on the external display does not work and I can’t switch back to water but the ice still works do you know how I can fix it?

dude...SHUT UP!!! Say what you are going to say, then say it; anything you want to say AFTER that is up to you. Spend 10 minutes talking about how much you like the refrigerator, the weather, your politics etc. Anyone who cares enough will pay attention. But if you can't get to your point within a minute of this video you have failed and are just full of yourself.

What if it’s unlocked and still can’t select water or crushed ice it stays on cubed ice. :/

It didn't work but I finally figured it out. Had to press down and hold lock button on dispenser for 3 seconds not inside the door.

How do you turn off the water to the water dispenser?

Mine doesn't have that control panel

I replace the filter and I get no water in the picture or out of the spout. I take the filter out and everything works fine somebody please help I’ve reset it. I have locked it I’ve unlocked it. I’ve done everything I can figure out to do.

Why ice clumps? Icicle on tray.

Does not work on our Samsung side x side. There is no internal panel with those buttons, such as for alarm.

I think it must be an external button sequence that locks it.

Not many mention that lock feature, only one so far mentioned no night light for the water/ice dispenser! My Kenmore elite has pushbuttons for light on and off!

Does anyone else’s dispenser leak water onto the tray below if you have crushed ice? It seems some of the crushed ice remains caught in the chute, melts, then drips to the tray below. I try to reach my hand up into the chute to clean it out with a dish towel. What an annoying design flaw!

Cant count the times the ice has frozen up an we had to defrost it. Over priced pos. Lol! But we are stuck with it.

Is there not a light where the water/ice dispenser is on the outside of the door????
