Good on you for leaving Charlie in her safe space rather than constantly uplifting her to try new spaces until you find one you like. Its fantastic that you are doing the groundwork without disturbing her routine & her comfort. Dogs need to stay in a safe familiar space as much as humanly possible, they get anxiety just as much if not more than humans. You're doing the right thing for you both! :) xx

Yes you had to leave Charlie behind and she is your baby and I just know the next permanent place in the city you will take her ! Calm down people ! Try say to the FIFO miners and workers who have to be away a month or more at times they would miss their animals and babies but they have to do what they have to do ! I don't think it is weird at all to have the want to live somewhere else. I am 21, have lived in the States as an Au Pair for almost 2 years. Back then the urge to leave was sooo big. I am back in Austria for two years now, about to leave for my exchange semester. Home can be many places. Also after researching and following up on so much content on Australia, I have this intense feeling that I would fit there so well, wanting to go there to live for a longer period of time, without ever actually having been there. So, no you are not the only one feeling this way and I am happy you get to experience this 💛🥺 also I weirdly enough also always have really good workouts during the first days of my period hahah, it also helps me a lot with the bloating and cramps

my one negative about the city is the lack of kmart, there are so many fun little shops and food places but sometimes you just need a kmart

I don’t understand why almost everyone is judging Conagh for leaving Charlie behind. At the end of the day it’s HER dog and she’s using her own money to pay for her apartment and it’s her choice whether or not she wants to take Charlie with or leave her behind.

If she decided to leave her behind then clearly she thinks that’s the best decision for both of them, her and her dog. And it’s not for you to judge. There are so many things to worry about in your own lives than to worry about what Conagh is doing with her own life 🙄

I'm reading comments about Charlie and yes i see where they are coming from BUT for example no one seems to have a problem when people leave their dogs to have a 'Euro Summer' for 6 weeks 🤷‍♀.. I've left dogs for 3 weeks before for overseas trips.. I personally couldn't do it NOW just because my dog is almost 12 with a few health problems and my heart wouldn't be able to handle it (It's me, hi, i'm the problem, it's me 😂) but i don't see a problem with what you are doing. A huge plus is that you visit. 💖

This is such a vibe for you, a change is always a good thing no matter what people say! I feel like you and your content will flourish moving inner city (with Charlie if you can!) There are lots of dog friendly places around and working from home a lot you will be fine having her with you! Please don’t let anyone tell you you shouldn’t! 💕💕 you do what is best for you!

I totally understand what you mean about the microwave. We went to Hawaii for a close family friend wedding. We made sure to pick an air BNB with air conditioning. My mom has an inner ear condition and for some reason getting hot it gets an episode. When she has an episode she can't stand up. She ends up puking a ton. She can't walk without two people basically carrying her.

Well we got to the air BNB and there was no air conditioning.

We wrote the owners an email about it and they were so rude about it. They said we were liars and that their Airbnb listing didn't claim there was air conditioning.
They didn't even try to accommodate us. They were just really rude and offensive.

My mom told me to see if I had a screenshot of the Airbnb listing because I send stuff like that to my husband.
I didn't have a screenshot, but I had a picture I'd taken of my laptop screen. It had the listing and the amenities page pulled up in two separate windows. And because it was of my laptop screen it had the date and time. The date was the day we booked.

My mom and her friend raised he!!.
I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty sure we got every penny back.
They replied to our email instead of calling so we had all the horrible things they said in writing.
And because air BNB felt bad that we didn't have anywhere else to go they gave us extra money so we could buy fans and stuff to keep cool.

I could never leave my dogs for a month😢
